I've had the Man Utd - Liverpool friendly on in the background, and it honestly seems like Liverpool are playing like they're retarded. I know this isn't their best lineup, but some of their play has been amateur-level embarrassing.
Didn't even know there was a game on. Was it just Liverpool being shit, or were United good?

Preseason so probably testing out new tactics. And for some reason foreigners will plead with clubs to come to their country and spend their life savings on tickets for this.

That's two of Brentford's core targets signed and on hefty contracts too. Lewis-Potter is tied down for six years for an estimated £22mil. If they somehow sign Mykhaylo Mudryk, they'll have landed three of four of the previous Winter targets in this transfer window. Naturally they can't get the forth, Brennan Johnson, what with his new penned contract with Nottingham Forest.

Brentford have had a bid rejected on "German" talent Kevin Schade. I know fuck all about the German league. @Atomkrieg is he worth hassle?

He plays for SC Freiburg. They have a lot of young, fast and disciplined players.

As far as I remember: he made around 20 games as forward and scored 4 goals and 1 assist (click for videos)
He's also very fast. At the moment he is the 3rd fastest player in Bundesliga (36,37 km/h).
Last season he got an injury right before the 2nd season game against RB Leipzig, missed the rest of the season and has some health issues since then. I think he had an operation some weeks ago.

I listen to 5-6 different podcasts about German football and nearly everyone in these has a high opinion about him. So "talent" is a fitting category.
He's 21 and just finished his first season in Bundesliga. So if I would be he is agent I would recommend him to stay in Freiburg for at least one more year, maybe two.

But honestly I know nothing about Brentford so I can't tell how good he would fit in there.

I'm not sure what Man City are playing at with these transfers, selling their two best goalscorers behind Aguero seems like a terrible decision, are they really relying on Haaland to score as many as he did last season and having Foden and Mahrez be the backups? If Haaland gets injured it's probably not going to be as easy even if they are an oil money club.

They also have Julian Alvarez and probably a few other youth players coming through

Did the Napoli interest go away? They just came across some money too...
I guess that's still a possibility but they already have a good young striker in Osimhen. Maybe they'll change their formation to accommodate Ronaldo but last year they played with a lone striker.
