Great to see Villa and Forest lose on the same day as Liverpool drop points, what a great start to season

I'll admit that I actually agreed with Allegri on this one when Kulu was still in Turin, but he's been doing so much better since he left, that perhaps in hindsight it says more about Allegri and his team's training methods than Kulusevski's quality.I can't help but laugh when I see how well Kulusevski is doing in England after being deemed not good enough for Serie A by Allegri. The kid is only 22 and seems to be turning himself into a top player.
Then you have Juve, who begged 34 year old Di Maria to take a 2 year deal and got rejected until they cucked and offered him 1. So in a year when Spurs exercise their option to buy Kulu for 35 mil, Juve will already be looking for a winger again. What a massive L for Allegri and Juventus.
I'm still glad that they keep trusting Hasenhüttl. Very underrated Coach imho.Ah yes, Southampton. Either they lose by a large margin or have the most drab victories, yet somehow stay up. Ward-Prowse deserves better and frankly would fit in perfectly with this current Spurs side.
Hasn't Neymar has also spoke about liking the MLS as it has longer breaks, better weather and he can "look after" his sister more often? I am sure he'll end up playing for New York City at some point before he regresses too harsh. Go the Beckham route and maximise his market appeal, especially within the South American demographics.Watching this PSG game and they're just battering Clermont. They're not even playing particularly well either and they're going at a friendly game's pace.
The big takeaway though: Neymar is entering his Milan Ronaldinho phase. That tummy is starting to show. Lucky for him he plays for PSG and in a farmer's league, so he can coast off his profile and skill, and can collect massive wages for the rest of his career if he wants. I envy him to be fair. He has one of the easiest jobs in the world.
Agreed. Annoyingly for me, they've also now got Rasmus Ankersen involved with transfers; which if you know anything about Brentford's time in the Championship, he was apart of our Moneyball system. You know, finding bargains and platforming them before selling them for a profit. However with the Brexit ruling in place, they won't be able to raid the French farmer leagues like the Bee's did. In fact, Brentford's tactical assistant Bernardo Cueva has already said that the future scouting pools they'll be prioritising will be South American and Eastern European. Expect to see an abundance of Mexicans and Ukrainians emerge from the Brentford and Southampton academies if the Brexit transfer ruling remains in place with the European union.I'm still glad that they keep trusting Hasenhüttl. Very underrated Coach imho.
Same, I knew there was potential but I thought that was a fair price for him. Turns out he's worth much more and Spurs will be getting him at a bargain. He had an immediate impact last season against teams like City and seems to still be getting better every week. So it really just shows the gap in quality between Conte and Allegri when it comes to developing young, promising players.I'll admit that I actually agreed with Allegri on this one when Kulu was still in Turin, but he's been doing so much better since he left, that perhaps in hindsight it says more about Allegri and his team's training methods than Kulusevski's quality.
Good riddance. He was on huge wages and never scored more than a couple of goals a season. He would smash it right before contract renewal then coast for the remainder of the season. I don’t know if it was because we were never an attacking side until last season or if he was just shit. Plus his goal celebration is stupid. This kind of slipped under the radar but Christian Benteke signed with DC United yesterday
Plus his goal celebration is stupid.
Imagine losing at home to the Brighton Benders after losing 4-0 away the last time you met the Brighton Benders.
