I'm watching Juve atm but I see Haaland already has another hat trick. It's scary to think of the kind of numbers he'll end the season with if he stays healthy.

Yeah but I can't imagine what Inter or Barca will do to Bayern's defence. Well, I can but it's kind of violent.
Bayern will have their full squad out and it will be just like a normal Champions League game. I am more worried about Barca's and Inter's defense against Bayern tbh

As soon as Man City figured out that they can play that final ball into a goal scoring space because Haaland will always be there, Haaland would be deadly

Ok so we are basically 5 games into the EPL so its ok to start analyzing some of the season so far. Especially since European competitions are coming up next week and the transfer window is almost closed.

Teams thoughts as I think of them-
Arsenal- look to be a legit top 4 contender. I don't think they have the depth to be the third horse in a title race but top 4 should be within their grasp. The wins over Fulham and Crystal Palace were their impressive ones all things considered and other teams have shown to have a lot more weaknesses

Man City- should run away with this. Haaland will just score an insane amount of goals as long as they keep feeding him. Don't think many teams can push Man City to a draw like Newcastle did with that chaotic match and City will probably put those games away quicker

Liverpool- got a last minute goal against Newcastle. Considering how good Newcastle is, this is a big result. Probably took too much of a hit at the beginning to be true contenders for the title but will probably get to second place. They still have another lump to take during the season so that will hurt

Chelsea- Signed Fofana and are looking for a striker. Hopefully they realize Tuchel is someone who can't build a squad well. The defense needs to be as solid as possible because Tuchel ruins every striker he gets. I can't imagine more money is going to fix Tuchel's problem

Tottenham- They don't look amazing but their squad is pretty solid. Conte needs to figure out Son to try and get him sorted so the team can start running but I think they are going to be in the top 4.

Brighton- another solid start. Losing Cucurella doesn't seem to be a big hinderance. I think a top 10 finish should be realistic unless something drastic happens

Leeds- Love me the american manager with the style that suits that team. I hope Leeds can push for a conference league spot but I think they won't be in a relegation scrap come end of the year.

Fulham- They look really solid. Lots of good mid table prem talent and Mitrovic is scoring for fun. I think we might finally see Fulham and Norwich play in a league match next year

Southampton- Probably going to be in a relegation scrap but starting off strong. A win against Chelsea should def help them out as any 3 points will do. But Southampton have a good manager and will continue to lose their best players so they will be in relegation scraps until they finally fall

Brentford- Probably a lower mid table finish with no real threats of relegation. The win against United was big but they drew Leicester, Everton, and Palace along with losing to Fulham doesn't indicate a strong start

Newcastle- Holy shit what a rebuild. I don't know if they will get into Europe this year and I don't think they should care. This team has been improving since mid season last year and took City to the last minute. They will be really good in a year and title contenders in 2-3 years if they continue to build like this

Man United- The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. A new manager comes in and Unites spends a shit ton of money on random players with no plan to try and win. Will it work this time? Who knows

Crystal Palace- Should be a solid mid table team. I hope they keep Zaha and find a way to get Conor Gallagher back so they can improve a little bit more. There are some solid youth talents coming through and Viera should get a lot more credit than he is getting.

West Ham- Idk why they had such a slow start with the solid squad they have. Now they will have Europe to deal with so it will be a slog through the season. Paqueta is a solid midfielder I wanted Arsenal to get instead of Tielemanns but alas, here we are.

Nottingham Forest- A full new squad has been tried before and failed in the premier league. But forest were forced to do this considering how their Championship squad was built. I hope they stay in the league but I can't imagine anything but a relegation scrap

Bournemouth- Scott Parker's firing kinda showed exactly what Bournemouth's problem is. The owner's don't want to spend the money to compete and the squad can't really compete. Arsenal and Liverpool just destroyed them and no real change will be made

Everton- They need to hold onto Anthony Gordon for the season. Got rid of Deli Alli which was a good move and need to hold onto what they can. Might be able to avoid relegation scrap but it won't be much better

Wolves- What on earth has happened to them? If Mendes was smart, he would start moving all of that young portuguese and spanish talent to Wolves in the january window because he might end up losing his little launching pad for his clients

Aston Villa- Gerrard is about to get his first growing pains. I can't imagine he is going to be around much longer with these results. Their team looks good enough on paper to be mid table so I am expecting to have a manager replacement. I hope Gerrard goes to another team and builds up some more of his resume because I don't think he has hit his ceiling but def not close to it yet

Leicester City- I can't believe they decided to try and hold onto all their players only to lose Fofana and possible more at the very end of the window. Even if they have a good run, I can't imagine they do anything well enough to avoid a relegation scrap

This just in: They're opening the Byron Castillo case once more. The player must present himself to the FIFA headquarters and explain the case with his own words.
Depending on how it goes, they may punish Ecuador further than what was agreed at first. Which may mean they could still miss on the WC and Chile may still enter in their place.

Good God, this is a mess and a half.

Holy Shit is this real? Do you have a link?

Sergiño Dest to AC Milan. That's an interesting one. If he were to get consistent minutes, it would mean Calabria moving to a defensive midfield role and sacrificing one of their attacking players. But I could see them switching to a 4-3-3 and having success with what Dest can bring going forward.

ETH still insisting Ronaldo isn't going anywhere. I'd just like to point out that if Ronaldo doesn't get moved in the next 24 hours, he will be going to Transnistria (a breakaway state) for a Europa league game in two weeks. Null was actually on Rekieta the other day talking about how he visited Tiraspol recently and it was a complete shithole. Now I'm really hoping Ronaldo will stay. Maybe ETH will rest his starters and give CR7 a full 90 minutes.

Thank God. He needed more time and be away from Barca before the world cup

So I just saw the Man City full highlights. A few notes

1. They are winning the league this year. Idk about champions league because that's just dependent on being hot at the right time but there isn't a chance that any team has the quality nor the ability to stay hot enough to compete with this team over 38 games
2. The City players have almost certainly realized Haaland will be waiting in the middle for the tap in to all of their great play. This video breaks down what he adds that makes him so dangerous about his runs to go with Man City
3. The scoreline and the hat trick from Haaland totally hid the fact that Julian Alvarez is the real deal as well. Both of his goals looked like he was back playing for River Plate. He is starting to fit into the squad as well. This will be the Haaland starter when they need to rest him for the Champions League which makes City even more dangerous

Woah, Arthur Melo to Liverpool. A talented player who was nearly ruined by Allegriball. Glad to see that he'll get a chance with a better manager.
Holy shit. Liverpool actually bought another good midfielder so they won't be shit when Thiago goes down

Man U should fear the games against ManCity.
Lots of teams should fear City with Haaland and Alvarez running around

Here comes some fun

Barcelona and Chelsea have agreed for a deal for Aubameyang. Chelsea get the 33 year old forward while Barca get 12 mil plus Marcos Alonso. 7th signing of the summer for chelsea (Sterling, Fofana, Koulibaly, Chukwuemeka, Cucurella, and Casadei). Looks like Chelsea could avoid full price by just throwing another player in the mix

Willy Boly goes to Forest from Wolves. I believe he intentionally avoided making Wolves last match day squad in order to push this move through

Manuel Akanji has moved to City from Dortmund.

Rumor time since this is probably the last day they remain relevant

Chelsea have been offered a chance to sign Neymar. Probably not going to happen since the finance needs to be in place and they have less than a day to get that together
Chelsea were also linked with Raphael Leao and Zakharyan from Dinamo Moscow. Leao is probably a no since signing Aubameyang but Zakharyan is on the table for about 12.6 mil.
Shakhtar forward Mudryk is on the radar for both Arsenal and Brentford but is valued at 25 mil so no idea if Brentford will make him their club record signing
Arsenal going into the Brazilian league for Palmeira's midfielder Danilo but 20 mil was deemed too low
Tielemanns has interest coming from Newcastle now. Don't know if he will be signed however due to Leicester not signing anyone and losing Fofana
43 million bid for Edson Alvarez from Ajax has been made by Chelsea. Player is seen as wanting to push it through
Billy Gilmour may be on his way to Brighton as they are looking to sign him at the end of the window
Daniel James may be on his way to Tottenham on deadline day as Leeds United might not be able to hold onto him
PSV have sold Gakpo to Southampton for around 34 mil
Icardi has collected some interest from both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce
James Rodriguez might move back to Europe with Sevilla interested
Tahith Chong may make a permanent move to Birmingham City from Manchester United. Birmingham were snubbed by Bordeaux forward Josh Maja as he wanted to remain in Ligue 2

That's all I got. Happy deadline day

Happy deadline day
As the coke dealer of tap in merchant Fabrizio Romano, this is the busiest day of the year for me. I'm gonna buy a bottle of champagne tonight.

Tbh, Neymar has probably been their best player so far this year. He's still a joy to watch when he's on his game.

@Yuuichirou Kumada what can you tell us about Endrick? I'm starting to see a lot of hype around him. Best Brazilian prospect since Neymar, R9 comparisons, etc. Lots of people are thinking a big European club will sign him straight from the Palmeiras youth team.

The hype is quite big over his performances, and he's been playing damn good from what little I could gather, but for now he's only 16 and gathering experience in the youth squads.

I think Palmeiras is more keen in using him on the main roster for a while before making any commitments to European clubs. Kinda like what they did with Vinícius Jr. on Flamengo - Before heading to Real Madrid, he played a season in the main team to pick up pace.

I'd say keep eyes and ears on news about him. In two years time we'll see if he's truly all that.

I actually enjoy the transfer window. My autism just goes so well with players moving around for money. That's why rumors get me all giddy despite the fact that 99% of them are fake

He probably is their most in form player right now. But the fact that the front 3 are working so well together makes that rumor seem bullshit. PSG are probably my second favorites to win the Champions League after Man City based on how well the front 3 are playing. Why would they try and ruin that?

Very big youth talent. He just turned 16 and I think he was dominating a U-20 tournament that his team ended up winning. Probably going to have to wait 2 years to see how he turns out but he doesn't have the typical party lifestyle that most Brazilians have.

He looks like a really dominant forward from what I could gather. I hope he turns into a really good forward because Brazil need to have him paired with Vinicius in the future otherwise it will be a really dark period for South American football

:story:
The absolute state of him
Its so frustrating to see all of these really good players that could be near world class and ruin it with all of their off field bullshit. How many true number 9 strikers are out there on the market? How many teams need that number 9 striker. He could be slurping up a contract worth hundreds of thousands a week, scoring goals for fun, and starting for Argentina at the world cup. Instead he stuck his dick in crazy and is now hoping that a team in Istanbul can save his career

BBC is reporting Fulham have signed Willian.
