Also, fitting for Kane that his record breaking goal was a Pen

BBC did an interesting article breaking his record down. Types of games/tournament he scored in, who he scored against, how he scored etc. Apparently a full 1/3 of his goals are penalties which is insane. Also:
On the flip side, only seven of Kane's goals came against sides occupying a top 10 spot in Fifa's world rankings at the time.
Quality stat padding right there

The only credit he deserves is that Rooney had that record with 40 more games played than him. Always annoys me when we win by a pen and then the press coo about the performance, shouldnt need a pen to win if you're the better team

Wow. What a disaster. I hope Bayern lose their next 4 games (Dortmund, City twice, other league game)

Unlikely. Tuchel has a track record for joining-a-new-club-and-turning-it-into-a-monster-for-the-first-10+-games.

He joined PSG, 30 points out of 10 games.
He joined Chelsea, 20something points out of 10 games (I think with no loss or only 1) and won the Champions League.

He did it with Mainz and Dortmund too before.

They may have created a new monster until Summer.

Everton have been referred to an independent commission by the Premier League over an alleged breach of financial fair play rules.

The Premier League did not reveal the specifics of the club's alleged breach, other than saying it occurred in the period ending with the 2021-22 season.
However, Everton have posted financial losses in several recent seasons.

The Toffees denied wrongdoing and said they were "prepared to robustly defend" their position.

In their statement, Everton added: "The club strongly contests the allegation of non-compliance and together with its independent team of experts is entirely confident that it remains compliant with all financial rules and regulations.

"The club has, over several years, provided information to the Premier League in an open and transparent manner and has consciously chosen to act with the utmost good faith at all times."

In March 2022, Everton announced losses of £120.9m for the 2020-21 season.

That meant losses over a period of three years totalled £372m - more than three times the £105m permitted under Premier League rules.

Rasmus Højlund might be a name to watch in the summer transfer window now that he has 5 goals in his first 2 international games with Denmark. Not against great competition in Finland and Kazakhstan but he's been doing well in Serie A with Atalanta this season and was already being scouted by bigger clubs.

lol at Denmark for blowing their 2-0 lead and losing to Kazakhstan.

I don't know what's the opinion on Mark Goldbridge here but I agree with his thoughts on International breaks.

The 'mutual consent' is interesting, wonder if he got his full payout or not

Was waiting for a replacement, I think we'll see Nagelsmann there soon
Def got a payout. His replacement has already been announced. I think they are gonna wait until the summer to appoint someone
