This actually hurts Stuttgart bc they also lost their best attacker.
I have to wonder how much the Rice sale hurt's West Ham. And if they sold Pacqueta, how much that would hurt them as well. They are bringing in new players but idk how well they work with a Moyes system. But if they do, then West Ham might be pushing for European spots every season

My bold take is that Newcastle secure 2nd place after City. They absolutely proved their worth against them in their hardest game of the year and I'm expecting a combination of Liverpool and Chelsea continuing their mediocrity this year as well as Arsenal trailing off a bit after coming so close and failing last year. The signings have been smart and the only thing stopping Newcastle from securing Champions League places again is if they make a deep run in it (which isn't going to happen, lets face it).

They got absolutely fucking slated on Twitter the other day with people pointing out over the last couple of transfer windows they've spent £1billion and still couldn't put more than 1 goal past 10 man West Ham
That 1 goal was with 11 men on the pitch, they couldn't score past 95 year old Ogbonna and a bloke with a fucked knee

Rice leaving wont be catastrophic, but I dont see us making a 3rd deep run into europe. Unless Soucek is dropped at least

I checked out /sp/ recently after seeing some news on espn soccernet.

That baldy in charge of the Spanish FA is being targeted by Spanish women's team, and refuses to resign.

Everton is doing great... pretty big chances of them finally getting relegated this year.

The RFEF (Spanish FA) right now is basically "We have investigated ourselves and found we have done nothing wrong"

From what I gout out of the /sp/ threads. This baldy countered by calling them fake feminists or something.

Though this statement makes me more sympathetic to the baldy.

While digging in further about FIFA trying to force the women's football meme.

Looks like the groundwork was being laid for a while to force this meme, that can't stand on its own legs like women's beach volleyball.

If the athletes need onlyfans to survive, you know that sport isn't really profitable without subsidies.

That baldy dude went to one of the Spanish ladies and kissed her on the mouth.

First he denied it being happening, than he gave a half assed apology, then he lied and said she "consentent", he now threatens people with lolsuits while he is insulting the women.
It's on camera what he did, a whole fucking stadium saw it and he is fucking up shit massively.

You simply don't go to a woman and kiss her on her mouth just because you are her boss and she did something good. That's literally sexual harassment.

And you feel sympathetic to that fucktard bc of course everyone is siding with the Spanish women's team and is putting out whiny statements?

Are you fucking retarded?

Shit like this gives validation to the blue haired woman who can't make a penalty about the sport. This fucker needs to be hung by his achilles heel

THE CURSE IS OVER

Hammers winning 3-1 with 20% possession is peak Moyesball
Time to invest in more barrel chested dudes over 6 feet tall who can launch a ball down field

Arsenal looking really average, sorry @DSP's Tax Lawyer. Barely scraped a win against Palace last week and now a 2-2 draw with Fulham. These are the games you need to win convincingly if you want first place. Could be too early to call but I think it’s Cities again unfortunately.
I am not losing hope yet. City have a much smaller squad this year as far as talent, and they are in more competitions this year. I don't think its over but didn't have a ton of confidence at winning this year.

on a similar note, it is amusing to see Rice tower over the Arsenal squad while not looking too tall at West Ham.
Moyes vs Arteta squads in a nutshell

Luton are a bit shit arent they?
Luton's entire plan is to recruit Championship grade players, go down and take the parachute payments; pray they bounce back the following year with the new stadia. That way they can abuse the FFP system. It was basically Watford's objective for a while and I am thankful that they aren't able to do so anymore. However with the current state of Everton, they might just survive by goal difference.

Brentford brought back Ghoddos (somehow no Championship side wanted him?) after DaSilva got injured again on a short-term deal. I think DaSilva's career with us is finished and he'll likely get shipped out. I expect a major investment into the midfield come the winter window.
