What in God's name is going on with this fucking team? It is the second loss in a row, pretty much unheard of when it comes to qualifiers. I'm starting to think Carlo Ancelotti isn't coming here after all.

And next week we play at home against fucking Argentina, who also lost at home against Uruguay who is undergoing a successful rebuild under Loco Bielsa.

You unfortunately came up against Luis Diaz during a Storyline, nothing could be done. Same happened to Luton

Everton got their 10 point deduction. That only leaves them 1 point behind 19th. Lucky for them it happened in a season with some diabolical teams in the Barclays so they'll probably dodge the drop

Now whens City getting theirs?

Luckily for you guys, there will be 6 auto qualifiers from South America and 7th gets a playoff that they will probably win. So only 3 teams won't qualify and that includes Peru and Bolivia

The City one is difficult due to figure out when it comes just because there are so many charges, so much evidence to compile, and so much to fight due to a nation state hiring lawyers. But if you wanted to look on the bright side of things, there is now precedent set on a single charge.

True that. It's just that this sets a rather bad precedent. That lone goal scored in the first few minutes of the first half came out of a weird scramble, and afterward, they wasted shot after shot and opened up way too much to Colombia's counterstrikes. If that's the kind of playmaking they are to present in the World Cup, don't expect them to go too far.

Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Ecuador and Colombia are locks for qualification. Venezuela have been surprisingly solid and may get their first WC appearance if they don't shit the bed along the way. Paraguay and Chile will have to content themselves with battling for the playoff berth because the football they presented so far was dismal. And barring a total miracle, Bolivia and Peru will go for the wooden spoon.

Right now our press is in damage control mode, mixing superstition and cope. They all remembered that in the qualification campaigns leading to the WC wins in 94 and 2002 the NT struggled hard, had their fair share of losses and poor overall performances, but eventually found their form. They trust this will help the team in the long run, since in all qualifications since 2006 the team often came out on top, showed great promise, and earned a few titles (namely, easy Copas Americas and Confederations Cups), only to fizzle out in the real deal. Times have changed and we can't depend solely on the weight of our shirts anymore, but the local press won't have any of that.

Impressive how going 12m over ffp gets you a bigger penalty than Portsmouth did for going into adminstration

I wonder if Everton would have gotten less had they voluntarily told themselves or they had some bankruptcy protection. The Covid years really fucked with a lot of things and allowed for lots of expenses to just be thrown on the books. I don't know specifics, but I bet Everton could have worked this out somewhere down the line. But this is the year to take the points penalty considering how shit all 3 clubs from the Championship are so; take the penalty, survive comfortably, and now you have a threat hanging over the head of the premier league to do something massive about City.

Also Lol, I found this while looking into the 2010 point deduction for Portsmouth. They kept getting fucked with all the way down in the EFL with their financial woes. Might not have gotten hit as hard by the premier league but they certainly got fucked way harder over the years

I like how the DFB is hyping up us fans. The first two games with new coach Nagelsmann happened in the USA so if someone wanted to watch them he had to stay up until like 4 in the morning and Nagelsmann first home match tonight against Turkey isn't even broadcasted in free TV. Fucking retards.

The entire first half against the US was not a good look for them. Unless you guys are looking to win a Gold Cup in 2 years

FUCK YOU NORTH MACEDONIA YOU FUCKING BALKANIGGERS!!! YOU CAN'T PARK THE BUS AGAINST US WHEN CHIESA IS FIT!!

FINALLY WE GET OUR REVENGE FOR GETTING CUCKED OUT OF THE WORLD CUP BY YOU FAGGOTS!!!!
Christ, England looked like shit in that first half. Glad they got it together later on, but wew - I've seen 9 year olds get it out of the midfield better than that.

Italy is through and Spallettiball is a joy to watch. Can't wait to watch the lads defend their title next summer.

Fuck all those Germans who were pretending to support Ukraine while sitting next to their refugee girlfriends who left their men behind for a more comfortable life. *Spit*
