Bro he was all alone in the box. He could have easily taken a touch and just blasted it past the keepers ear. He is just showing off with this
Sure, he could have but why not show off a little in a u23 friendly? That technique is pretty crazy for a 20 year old kid. Outside of the boot on a half volley…got some Di Maria vibes watching that.

Oh yeah, he is good enough to show off. Its scary how good he could be if he develops right.

Death, taxes, USA-Mexico Dos a Cero. As much as I'm still pissed Berhalter is still USMNT manager, seeing the Televisa National Team piss themselves never ceases to amuse me.
Glad to see there are bigger trash fires in Concacaf

I was fuming yesterday, fucking Robert Renan fucking mongoloid nigger cunt son of a depraved whore with cancer pouring out of her every hole.

Then comes today and Brazil plays against Spain.

And holy shit, I just want some spaniard to fucking kill vinicius jr. This retarded imbred deserves all the racist shit from every place in the earth. I've never seen a player in the national team to be so fucking bad.

Also not using VAR isn't acceptable anymore, pay for it already, stop skipping on it for a dew dollars.

Truly the death of Iceland and Wales golden generations. Glad Georgia knocked out Greece too. Don't need to see a 10 man block near the box and trying to win on a counter attack or penalties. 2004 was a disgrace

Poland are still going with that approach, boring as fuck against Wales last night.

Currently watching Benfica vs Chaves at the moment (mainly to see how good Joao Neves is) and it's been crazy.

Benfica are second in the league to Sporting CP and desperately trying to take points from Chaves who are bottom of the league. In the first half they get awarded a penalty, Di Maria takes it and it's saved. They've just been awarded another penalty in the second half and it's saved AGAIN. VAR reviews it and determines that Chaves' keeper did not have both feet on the line when it was taken, so it's being retaken. Benfica take the penalty again... and IT'S SAVED AGAIN.

And while I'm writing this, Benfica were awarded a free kick, which was flung over to Joao Neves who flicks it behind him with his head and makes it 1-0 to Benfica:

What a strange game.

Newcastle player Tonali, who got a 10 month ban for gambling while he was at AC Milan, has now been charged again with gambling while at Newcastle.
Jesus, AC Milan made out like bandits by selling him
Sandro is a good boy, he dindu nuffin. We like to gamble sometimes, it's a part of our culture. It's not like he was betting against his own team, what's the big deal? Clearly....

I am torn on this. On one hand, they are taking away a key player for the glorious country of Italy just before the Euros. On the other hand, Newcastle are losing out on a key player

I honestly don't know what to expect for the Euros. Spalletii has been signaling he's going to play a 3-4-2-1, which imo is kind of retarded. But the upside is that if we're playing a double pivot and wingbacks in the midfield, we probably won't really miss Tonali. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Italy doesn't make it out of the group. With that formation, Spalletti is going against what made him successful in recent years and he will probably be looking for a new job again in the Fall. It's all so tiresome.

The backline isn't what it use to be though. So having a double pivot and 3 at the back might be his only option tbh. I am not looking forward to what the Euro's will look like. But with 3rd place teams going through, I have to imagine we have a shot. Group is tough but Idk how strong Croatia will be. And Spain might just shit the bed at some point
