I am going to huff a ton of copium and bank on Brighton, Fulham, Spurs, and West Ham potentially taking points off City
Don't bank on us, we're legitimately dogshit and will be until Moyes fucks off.
We play a dire defensive dirge against every opponent and still are the 4th worst in the league for goals conceded

After bagging 4 goals against Everton today, Cole Palmer now has as many league goals as Haaland. I wonder how bad Guardiola regrets not giving him enough minutes, dude is cookin at Chelsea. What a player

Edit for a Fraudbrizio L. He was fooled by the hipster Giuntoli and his diversions.

Copium doesn't look at the facts or the obvious outcomes. Copium makes me think that the team who won the Conference league last year is going to tie Man City and let Arsenal slip back into the title race.

He's a good player but Chelsea's offense seems to revolve around him. I don't know if he would be quite the player he is at City right now, even with the extra minutes. He would probably be splitting time with Foden and Bernardo Silva if he were still at City

Double posting but I saw the Chelsea situation with the penalty and it really hurts to say it but Nico Jackson should have taken the penalty imo. I believe in the rule that the one who wins the penalty should not take the penalty, theres just too much around that could happen before the penalty. So, with both Madueke and Palmer getting hacked down, neither of them should have taken the penalty. Idk if Jackson is third up, but he had the best claim for the penalty imo

Xavi is having a meltdown, blaming the referees for his team bottling the quarter final at home. Legendary player but such a petulant, spastic manager. I think he's honestly trying to argue against the red card given to Araujo :story:

Thanks to Atletico and Barca flopping spectacularly, Spain can no longer get a top 2 coefficient. Italy's coefficient is 18.428, Germany is 17.214, and England is 16.750. If Real Madrid win every game, they would get Spain up to 16.312. This means that 5th place will not get into the Champions League next year from Spain
I still don't understand how this works but I'm gonna go ahead and assume England's chances just went way down as well. Is it safe to say that Italy and Germany have pretty much secured the fifth spot at this point?

Pretty much. I think after this week, Liverpool and West Ham will probably also get eliminated. Meaning that Germany and Italy will get the sweet 5th champions league spot. And honestly, I would blame Newcastle and Manchester United for that tbh. Hard to get that coefficient up when you don't even get into Europa League from the Champions League group stage

It's official now (at least for Italy). Serie A will have 5 teams in the champions league next year. Possibly 6 if Atalanta or Roma win the Europa league but finish outside of the top 5.

Terrible decision tbh.

I could see Leverkusen playing an Italian team in the finals to see if Leverkusen can pull of a treble

We win but it doesn't feel like it at all. Why do we concede so many goals in the dying moments of the game? I'd feel prouder as a Coventry fan.
One VAR review away from a City vs Coventry final.

In other news leverkussen 40 games unbeaten or something ridiculous like that
I hope they do go unbeaten now. Stuttgart, Roma, the Europa League Final (if they get there), and the DFB Pokal final are all that could be standing in their way
