While the DFB final is fresh, the Copa Del Rey gives us the same shit with Real Madrid vs Barcelona.

Bro Spain had the chance to actually make an exciting league finish and just fumbled the bag hard. Barca, Real, and Atletico were vying for the title and all within striking distance, Bilbao was sneaking around, Villareal and Betis were fighting off competition for Europe. It was great. Now we are just left with an El Classico final in the Copa Del Rey, an El Classico race for the title, and a relegation battle between Alaves, Leganes, Las Palmas, and maybe Espanyol. Valencia are like 4 points clear of relegation now. What a terrible fumble to sell your leagueWhile the DFB final is fresh, the Copa Del Rey gives us the same shit with Real Madrid vs Barcelona.
One positive I get from the same-old-shit aspect of Spanish footy is that pajeet customers are guaranteed to flip out. Gotta love how they go crazy over Real and Barcelona. While the DFB final is fresh, the Copa Del Rey gives us the same shit with Real Madrid vs Barcelona.
All these channels are stupid and everyone who makes and watches this shit should be launched into the sunOne positive I get from the same-old-shit aspect of Spanish footy is that pajeet customers are guaranteed to flip out. Gotta love how they go crazy over Real and Barcelona.

De Bruyne should be going to a league that plays slower so he can show off his vision and skills while not needing to keep up with the physical needs of the premier league. I don't think he is MLS levels of retirement yet.Mats Hummels is going to end his career after this season, Thomas Müller is very likely to not getting a new contract at FC Bayern and de Bruyne is going to leave Man City. That's some eras to end.
The chatter in the press is they haven't even offered him a new contract. Of course, now conflicting reports are coming out (the president of the board talking to Thomas), so who knows. If the rumor mill is true, Thomas still wants to play, but it's likely going to be in the MLS if he does. But with Moose going down with a hammy in tonight's game (yet another injury), they may need Thomas as a serious backup, at least through the Club World Cup, and maybe on to next year.Muller could get a new contract if he takes a massive paycut. Otherwise I would like to see him go into a coaching role at Bayern. I can't imagine him anywhere else
Sucks to suck. Mueller should just make a move and take overI'd love to see Thomas in Bayern management (he probably could go immediately to broadcasting as well, even with the accent), but I don't know if the Old Guard would stomach Thomas in management at Bayern- Thomas would instantly be more popular than anyone else in management or on the board.
Agree with all of this. I'm predicting Arsenal scrape in front for the first leg, hype themselves up about it for a week and then get the Real Madrid treatment in the second leg.Champions League quarter-finals predictions
Today:
Arsenal - Real Madrid
FC Bayern - Inter
Tomorrow:
P$G - Aston Villa
Barcelona - Dortmund
Doesnt matter how tonights match ends between Arsenal and Real bc the 2nd leg match is in Madrid and Real will move on bc of course they will.
FC Bayern is missing Upamecano, Davies, Ito, Manuel Neuer and now Musiala is out too, also for the rest of the season. They are missing their complete A-defence and the new goalkeeper is not on the CL levels. Inter finished the league stage with 11:1 goals and only got another one in the RO16 matches. So in 10 matches they caught only 2 goals. Even if Bayern should win tonight the 2nd leg match is in Milano. Inter will move on to the semi-finals.
P$G dominated Liverpool, Villa is not on Liverpool levels, P$G has already won league 1 for this season and so far hasn't lost a single match. P$G will move on.
Barcelona had so far 22 matches in 2025 and are 18-4-0. Barcelona moves on.

Over under 3.5 red cards for Arsenal in MadridPrepare for ungodly amounts of black VAR magick in Madrid. Wouldn't even be surprised when before the rematch half of the Arsenal squad gets taken out by some surprise illness bc they all eat some poisoned food. Or their plane crashes on the way to Madrid.
