A Real Madrid loss and CL elimination is always a joyous day for the whole world.

Meanwhile, in Brazilian footy news, Flamengo forward Bruno Henrique has been indicted for manipulating a specific result in last year's national championship - More specifically, he would have forced himself to get booked in a match against Santos to benefit a select group of relatives and betting personnel.

Things are rather cloudy at the moment as more proof is being gathered (so far, only a couple of questionable WhatsApp chat prints have been divulged), but this is a serious accusation against one of Brazil's top performers. Not sure where things will go from here.

Semi-finals will be Real vs P$G and Barcelona vs Inter.

Not disappointed that I got the Real prediction wrong. Would have been happier tho if I'd called the Villa game wrong but it is what it is.

Arsenal vs P$G, Barca vs Inter. Not that bad for CL semi finals. Would have predicted a P$G vs Barca final but if Arsenal can beat Madrid and their black magick then they can beat P$G too.

Spent all week hyping up the remontada only to end up the one farthest away from one, El Chiringuito meltdown will be fun tonight.
Semis vs Inter will be tough, they're our worst match up, players look tired and we're one injury away from the season ending in disappointment. Can't complain even if we lose, Hansi taking the same team from last year + Olmo to CL semis is massive.

Bayern have so many players injured, I'm not surprised they lost. I don't know if it would have mattered even if the squad was healthier though. Aside from beating up some cellar dwellers at the start of the season, Bayern have lacked that killer, finishing instinct. They dominate possession... at midfield. Their chances are so often needlessly difficult, and Kane is all over the field instead of hunkering down near goal.

Kompany may be the right antidote to Tuchel, but it's going to be a nailbiter to claim the Bundesliga this year. I don't see him being able to outcoach anyone, even if management spend 300 million Euros in the offseason (which, given some of the numbers around Wirtz I've seen, if that happens plus a few more players, it's possible).

Arsenal beat PSG back when Dembele was being left out of the squad. Arsenal had way more players too. I think PSG stop the run but Arsenal got further than I thought they would

I don't pay a lot of attention to Brazilian club football.
Some attention got on them this year because Neymar returned to Santos this year. Then he got injured. Well, shit happens, right?
He recently came back from injury and you'll never guess:

Neymar was subbed off with an injury during Santos' match tonight
💔
This is just mocking a tweet from a journalist, Bruno Formiga who said in february:
Jorge Jesus was mistaken. Period. Physically, Neymar was fit.
It's over. He's finished, imo.
He already had a thigh injury earlier in the year that kept him out of the national team's matches, and was filled with injuries in that Saudi Arabian club.
Every brazilian is sad about this situation with Neymar. Deep down, even the haters.
(The haters proceeded to laugh in the replies)

It will be a very Arsenal thing if they bottle it vs PSG after conquering Real Vardrid.
I mean, the way PSG are playing right now makes them really dangerous. And the fact they have their league wrapped up makes it even worse. So the only other game that really matters for them is at the end of May when they play the Coupe de France final against Reims, who are currently in a relegation battle

If this season ends with a treble for P$G I riot.

Any /mug/ chads here? we doing a manure thread tonight?

So, it happened AGAIN. We can blame injuries, we can blame fatigue, we can praise Lyon's effort, but the truth is it's simply not enough. Tactics, Onana, determination you name it, it all stinks.

Don't get me wrong, I still have full faith in Amorim and the lads, but MASSIVE reinforcements are desperately needed right now. Otherwise I'm not very optimistic about this upcoming season, or our chances in the PL for that matter. Not playing like this. What do you think, /mug/?

Trust me, Arsenal are not a good team. They're very good defensively to an extent, but that's about it. Real Madrid have been shit this season, especially in defence. PSG will punish the shit out of them across the 2 games. Inter vs Barcelona is going to be an insane semi-final, and idk who wins that. Unstoppable force vs immovable object.

Sneed it loud, sneed it clear, refugees are welcome here. The Europa League is amazing for a PL watcher because both teams in the last 8 have to win the whole thing to get Europe next season at all, never mind the Champions League.
It will be a scrumptious hatewatch knowing one of them can't do it, and hopefully both get knocked out. It could be terminal damage for their finances with sponsors pulling out or reducing their money.
With Man Utd's attacking injuries and Onana, I think they have less chance than Tottenham. Problem with Tottenham is they could be very good but bottle the shit out of any game remaining and defensively they're shocking sometimes.
