Sheffield Wednesday become the team at the top of the ‘earliest relegation in a season’ league. What’s worse is that they were relegated by Sheffield United, at Bramall Lane, losing 2-1 Steel City derby that saw two red cards.

What’s happened to Wednesday is the same shit that happened to Reading, Morecambe, Hamilton Accies etc. shit owners who don’t give a fuck, refusing to sell up and asset-stripping the club.

Really hoping Wednesday find a good owner (not some dodgy gambling bro) and rebuild to come back stronger than ever. A side that still, even now, have huge fan support. They had a great youth system and were solid in Division 1/The Premier League for years. Bring back the good times, lads. You deserve better than this. Sheffield needs the Steel City Derby. Preferably in the Prem.
 
FK'n Bodø/Glimt just beat Inter Milan 2-1 (5-2 on aggregate). They advance to the round of 16 in the Champions League.

Can someone please explain to me what is wrong with the tards in charge at Man U? It's bad enough that they have this habit of massively overpaying for shitters, only to have to sell them at a huge loss a couple of years later, but now they also wanna do the opposite.

There was another BBC article up today about how Utd somehow tardlucking themselves back into the Champions League is worth a minimum of £50mil, and potentially as much as 100. Imagine getting that windfall and instead of paying down some of your insane debt, or shoring up your godawful PSR losses you instead spend it buying back Scott McTominay for 3x what you sold him for just 2 years ago.

It's too bad this is the real world and not an FM save. Bodo go on to build a Scandinavian powerhouse in a just world; but I can't speak for others and if I were a player, I'd rather go ride the bench for 4x the wages at a Championship side than have to live in a frozen fishing port surrounded by people speaking in Sims.

Italian football has fallen off. Also, Inter definitely winning the league this year. 10 point lead, 12 games to go, and the semi finals of the Coppa Italia to distract from the league is pretty much a death sentence to AC Milan here

It's a shame bc Serie A started strong and exciting with both clubs from Milano fighting for the championship and another club lurking.

That they shit the bed is at least good for Bundesliga tho bc we might end up with a fifth slot for the Champions League which means another club might get a shot at the Euro League which means Frankfurt might at least get a shot in the Conference League next season.
