3rd matchday in Bundesliga and we have the first coach getting sacked. Borussia Mönchengladbach lost their first match 3:0 against Leipzig, then they gave a 3:1 lead against newbie Elversberg who also saw a red card and lost 3:4 in the end and now Mönchengladbach lost 5:0 to Freiburg.

Funny thing is that their now ex-coach took over last season also after the 3rd matchday.
Every coach gets a pre season. Its just after you coach most of your games

Just want to say fuck this guy, I put in a $10 prediction market bet for SS Lazio to beat AC Milan. I was up but then this fuck scores two in a row back to back and ties the game. Thankfully I was able to work my way up into making my money back after (I even made $5 more) but I’m never doing that shit again.

As much as I want to point and laugh at United - this is just stupid. Idk who got in this kid's ear or what's going on behind the scenes, but this is just ridiculous and doesn't bode well for his future if he's surrounded by people not looking out for him at the infancy of his career. Irresponsible is an understatement.

Dude is 15 and looking for what, first team minutes? This is incredibly retarded

Referees' chief Howard Webb has admitted that the video assistant referee (VAR) did not even consider whether Enzo Fernandez was offside for Erling Haaland's controversial winner in Sunday's Manchester derby.

Speaking on the first edition of 'Match Officials Mic'd Up' of the season, Webb said he was "really disappointed" with the error made by the VAR Matt Donohue and his assistant Blake Antrobus.

Manchester City striker Haaland thought he had scored the only goal of the game at Old Trafford in the 60th minute, but it was disallowed on the field for offside.

A VAR review found Haaland was just onside, and the goal was awarded.

But it immediately became apparent that the video officials had made an error in failing to identify an offside offence by Fernandez, diving at the ball in a central position and interfering with opponents.

"I was really disappointed with this outcome. We all are," said Webb, Premier League refereeing body Pro Ref's chief refereeing officer.

"None more so than the officials themselves. They take a lot of personal pride in what they do and they're obviously hurting now, having fallen short in this situation.

"They'll not be officiating again until after the international break."
Oh well, as long as you're really disappointed it's fine.

The semi-automated offside technology told the VAR that Haaland was three centimetres onside from Josko Gvardiol's cross.
Remember, VAR is only for clear and obvious errors though.

AFA confirmed that Messi's international farewell match will take place in the evening of October 6, at Buenos Aires' Monumental de Nuñez stadium against... Benin.
What did you expect, a hard game for his last Argentina cap? They are going to give him a blow out for his final game and they should. Dude made that country good again after the 2006 squad failed in the quarter finals
Tottenham lose to 3-1 to Liverpool and exit the Carabao cup
This team has spent 400m euros just to play 41 games this season :story::story:

just all around shit defending, really disappointed in Heaven and Yoro the let Brighton just walk all over them, and apparently Karl Darlow cant stop a shot to save his life.

Last night, we had the second leg of the Libertadores quarter-finals match between Corinthians and Estudiantes de La Plata.
The Pincharratas managed to score a belter at the 87th minute with Alexis Castro, and pretty much secured their spot in the semifinals then and there.

But at the very last minute of the second half's extra time, forward Pedro Raul tosses the ball toward the box, and it ends up touching an Estudiantes defender's arm. After a VAR check, the ref awarded a penalty to Corinthians.

In steps Memphis Depay, he who earns 4 million reais every month. And he kicks it wide over the bar.

Europa League highlight matches review cuz i cant be asked to watch all of the games

Sep 16th games

Omonia Nicosia vs Celta Vigo (1-0)
Happy to see my home team winning, pleasantly surprised with the performance I thought our midfield and defenders played very well throughout the game evendoe we didnt have much of the ball

AC Milan vs Benfica (0-2)
I feel bad for Milan tbh, lots of their issues are very similar to Man united's problems, I still believe that Amorim is a good manager, he can definitely thrive with them but due to the club's financial limits it might take a lot of time for them to be back again

Anderlecht vs Lyon (1-2)
it was alright match nothing really negative about both teams but Anderlecht were unlucky with conceding the second goal that deflection from the defender was just cursed

Sunderland vs AZ Alkmaar (1-0)
its been 50 years since Sunderland last played in a European competition :wow:

Sept 14 games

Beşiktaş vs Marseille (4-1)
Its incredibly satisfying to see a team that was harboring a rapist and a bunch of terrible people get their ass felted into oblivion

Celtic vs Ferencváros (1-3)
The scouse decade of humiliation will continue until morale is improved

Crystal Palace vs Lech Poznan (4-0)
easy blowout

Juventus vs NEC Nijmegen (5-0)
easy blowout

Real Sociedad vs Bournemouth (1-2)
Bournemouth win their first ever game in a major UEFA competition :wow: plus an insane late save from Petrovic won them the game

Two more early sackings happened.

In Ligue 1 after the 4th matchday Dino Topmöller (former coach of Eintracht Frankfurt) left RC Lens bc he didn't agree with the club sacking one of his assistant coaches so he left too.

In Serie A, also after just the 4th matchday, Bologna sacked Tedesco (former head coach of the Belgium national team). Probably didn't help his case that he acted retarded after the last match and insulted the refs which caught him a red card and that Bologna only got one 1 draw and 3 losses out of the four matches.

His dad is known to be a nightmare to deal with. I heard one reason he moved up north and went to United is because his dad pissed off a bunch of big clubs in London and no one wanted to work with him. Classic case of the dad (Who is an ex-footballer that never achieved anything of note) living vicariously through his son and getting way too involved in his career

It's sad because he's obviously a massive talent and he doesn't seem like a bad kid

The sad part is, he is trying to be the next Yamal instead of following his own career. Kid has 10-12 years before he is in his prime and he wants to keep bouncing around like a retard. If he is lucky, he might end up playing for a lower league side. What a waste
