Yup, the same guy. Bloody awesome operating system features, plus totally random things God told him to do. (And I hadn't seen this video, and wondered where the "graphics in source code" quote that sometimes shows up in the forum header came from, thanks :) )

I saw the video, he has more videos in his youtube channel... but, for some reazon, his voice makes me really sad :/

I'm not really a moralfag but I'm going to agree that this women is actually sick and shouldn't be messed with.

Fatty is sufferer of terminal USI and really deserves what happens to him. But Gloria is a seriously sick woman who needs real help from serious professionals.

The Gail trolls may be messing with her, but thankfully they have also helped her a lot. They helped her with unemployment, they have given her gifts and payed for her gas, they have convinced her to take her meds regularly, they set her up an adsense acount, the list goes on. So I can't say they are completely bad. Heck 2 of the troll visit her irl and keep an eye on her. Gail is actually more interesting to me than chris now days, I would consider her the main "lolcow" I watch.

That sounds like a massive circle-jerk of mentally ill people feeding off each other in a semi-symbiotic way.

Yeah, I'm not really buying it. The way these things work, I'm more inclined that they're just trying to keep her in this permanent state of being semi-functional (capable of feeding herself, internet access, etc. but still schizophrenic as all hell and loony as balls) so they can continue milking her for laughs than to believe they're honestly trying to improve her quality of life in any real way.

Not gonna get all self-righteous, but let's not pretend that these people are doing any of this for her sake.

I hadn't really read anything about Gail recently, partially because I kind of agree with the others that she's probably one of the people who really, really shouldn't be trolled. She has the type of mental illness that really never goes away and is always one big prod away from a very, very messy act that will likely land her in the media. She's not a little teenybopper committing suicide over online bullying, but I can see Nancy Grace greasing up her vibrator at the idea of exploiting the story and getting some attention out of it.

To be fair, AFAIK schizophrenia can die down after several years, with the auditory hallucinations first transforming into a kind of hissing noise and then disappearing altogether and consciousness reverting mostly to normal mode.
(At least what we modern people know as normal.)

But I agree, yes, she shouldn't be trolled - ill person, not a lolcow.

What is interesting though is the nature of Gail's hallucinations. This should be called housewive-who-has-read-too-many-romance-novels-phrenia... it's all about rich and famous men (Brent Spiner, Vladimir Putin...) who are in love with her plus bizarre sexual fantasies such as the Jesuit nukkake bomb.

Also, someone raised the question of why Gail is more functional than CWC (has a job, lives like a typical adult...) while having a more severe condition. Actually, Schizophrenia doesn't necessarily limit your external functioning - there are cases where the voices will give rather competent and helpful advice. This has led some psychiatrists to question whether the prime therapeutical objective should be the silencing of the voices via medication, instead of rather using them in a therapeutical way.

It's actually an interesting idea, but I think that ultimately most doctors will decide to try to silence the voices because there's no guarantee that the voices won't change their messages in the future.
 
Can Gail's "announcement" of the upcoming "possible execution" of her sister in her latest video be construed as a threat under Florida law? I know she's actually just reacting to whatever nonsense her trolls have spoonfed to her lately on Skype, but I think she's past due for another 72-hour "mental hold".
 
I am new here and I folllow the Gail Chana videos.Its such a sad story.She has schizophrenia but can still function.Shes had it since her twenties shes in her late fifties now.Her delusions are so ingrained its hard to believe,I am always trying to speak respectfully to her and tell her please call your mom,any friends,please get help,and these trolls contribute to the illness for kicks.These are probably college kids,but being this cruel to a very ill old woman it makes me sick.The sister thats she threating to kill actually has been raising her son who also has a mental illness.You can not reason with a delusion,and now I'm the enemy as she always say Hi to Zack Knight who is her imaginary Jesuit leader.So I am stopping commenting because shes pulling me into her delusion and thats the last I want.

Ah, Gail. Gail is awesome. She has such an exciting life for 50-something divorced lady, nevermind that most of it is troll-fed fantasy and her own delusions. There's a spaceship on the orbit dedicated to you and 30 dreamy celebrities waiting to marry you - how cool is that?

I used to frequent the Jesuit IRC and talk with Zack and Rule 13, and they are actually pretty chill trolls. Zack especially was happy to share some behind-the-scenes information on Gail and how she operates, and he tried to recruit me to do some small writing for the wiki. Babysitting Gail understandably takes a lot of time, and Zack and 13 are/were young adults trying to get through school.
