Christ he’s really burning through the various sports betting platforms.

Glad to see he will continue to be bled dry by his gambling addiction. I had worried he had managed to curb one of his life crippling vices but obviously that’s not the case. I’m sure he planning his next trip to a casino asap. He must be miserable after an entire week home.

Is he still going to Vegas in July? I remember reading that he was complaining about the cost of plane tickets but that was before Iberia 2 so presumably he can still travel.

He is! He is planning a trip to Atlantic City with Meigh and the baby soon. His excuse is that Meigh couldn't come on vacation with him to Portugal so he is taking her on a very special vacation just for the three of them. To Atlantic City. What mother with a newborn wouldn't love to go there?! It totally isn't for Ralph to gamble, it's for Meigh... and the baby.

Yeah, he confirmed today on stream that he'll be in Vegas from July 23rd-29th. It doesn't sound like he's bringing Meigh & Rozy. He was also asked if he'll do any IRL streams while he's there, but he waffled on it (so basically: no).

They don’t allow streaming or cameras on the casino floors and there’s no way Ralph wants to lose precious hours away from the casinos floors for any reason.

This will probably get overlooked but I think there's a lot to unpack here.

1) Gunt has proven time and time again that he doesn't give a shit what Meigh says, and she's proven that she takes the backseat and lets him do whatever he wants. So why did she make such a big deal as to stop him from making this bet? And he listened?

2) He's publicly seething about her and calling her a "genius" which means he's surely hollered and said much worse to her in person, and since he has 0 friends he has no other outlet but to come on twitter to whine.

3) He also hasn't said much about gambling recently at all, but suddenly has the big idea to bet $1k, which is more than his stated usual bet?

So a couple of possibilities here. I think Meigh must have seriously put her foot down to actually get him to listen to her. This is a fairly large change from their usual dynamic. She of not only having to care for a baby, feed a baby, and clean up a baby's shitty ass, but also taking care of Rozy at the same time.

I also think they are starting to actually get worried about money. My guess is they did not expect to lose money on Ralphamania and this fact sent Gunt into a bender spiral. The fact that they used Harry's card on a big ticket item tracks with this. Someone flush with cash doesn't need to resort to that, and Ralph probably thought it was a temporary maneuver until the payday from Ralphamania came in that weekend.

His solution is to start gambling more, and larger amounts, to earn money, which is typical of a gambling addict. Meigh, despite being retarded, has probably taken a more pragmatic approach and reminded her pickle-brained chubby hubby that it is money they really cannot afford to lose. notion. With Harry gone, there is no life line anymore so they can't just frivolously burn money and expect to be bailed out.

The real question is, does Meigh control the money? Ralph makes it sound like he needed her permission to bet it, and he has never been one to seek advice from her or anyone when he wants to do something. He just does it.

Some interesting dynamic shifts afoot in the Ralph household.

Harry Morris stated sometime back about how bad Ralph's gambling was, after their public spat, and that he has sat burning the midnight oil and lost thousands whilst on benders. I do not think the gambling itself is out of the ordinary, but certainly the fact he has decided to post about it and hint that it's Mays fault he didn't win big is different. It does seem to chime with what people have speculated, and what Harry has said about Ralph's gambling addiction - it's bad.

I personally think that's where most of his money goes. Which also explains why he can make $600 a night, 5 times a week and still be broke as fuck. You can be as rich as you like, but if you gamble like a retard then ultimately you're going to be poor.

Ralph and Meigh's relationship is something of an enigma, I have no doubt Ralph is his usual abusive self with her from time to time, but I have a suspicion we have a situation akin to a white trash taming of the shrew. Ralph probably doesn't allow public criticism from her, but behind closed doors where his ego doesn't have to deal with the prying eyes of the public she might have more sway than we give her credit for.

For example, Ralph did initially lose a great deal of weight, and at one point in their time together manage to stop drinking - to excess - for a good few months (he just smoked weed instead). Without someone to cook for him, and to support him, there is no way in hell he would have pulled either of those entirely mundane feats off.

I think that Ralph should hold a poker tournament as his next live event. It's standard for a casino to take a cut of the player's winning in cash games or buy-in in tournaments, so it would be an acceptable and easy way to make money as long as he can bring people to the tables. There might be some legal issues, but that would never stop a Ralphamale, especially when he could just hold the event in Mexico and bribe the policia. If the event is in Mexico he could also invite some friendly local bookies and take a cut from them.

Sounds like a way to step on the toes of Organized crime tbh

The move to Mexico sounds like they were fleeing, not moving. Basically whatever he could fit into a truck and run to the border.

While his headaches with the court system played into it, I’d bet his issues with various sports books and apps did too.

You don’t leave your trashed rental, all your worldly possessions in some guys garage and take your girlfriend’s dad’s luggage before driving to Mexico because things are going well, you do it because the shit has hit the fan and you have to flee to where you can survive on way less money.

How much of Ralph's sports betting do you think is part of "keeping up with the joneses"?

I reread a novel by Dostoevsky recently called "The Gambler" where a retired Imperial Russian Army General bets huge amounts of money on credit (IE money he doesn't have) not for the fact that he actually wants to gamble- but due to the fact that if other people see him betting large amounts of money they might think he's wealthy and prestigious. Got me thinking- is Ralph's sports betting problem part of his act to lie about how huge his income is?

Yes, it's absolutely both addiction and a façade. He's a wigger, pure 100% retard wigger. I believe you learn the most about these people through the leaks. While he's an addict and is addicted to gambling, he also thinks showing off his bets portray him as a big baller. How many times did he try to flex his incredibly embarrassing degenerate bets to Alice to try and get passed around crackhead pussy?

he’s going to double down on a pickle ball match to try to win his money back

Looks like Mahomes sprained his ankle just before the half. I’ll bet Gunt’s hollerin’ up a storm right now with Neigh nagging him about how he bet their rent money on KC tonight.
Ralph is probably panicking because he borrowed money from the local cartel in order to bet big on the Chiefs when he was in Vegas. He is probably scared shitless right now and is telling Meigh to pack up their bags just in case the Chiefs fail to pull off a win as they need to get the fuck out of town quickly. Ralph you stupid wigger.

I want to say that's bullshit fanfic ..... but then I remembered Ethans swampland he bragged on was actually worth under half of even my comically low frankly dishonest estimates and I'm starting to think this is the only thing that could have happened and if so I'd take that a sign of some sort if your big bet is hampered by a guy's ankle being smited
