Let's Sperg GameMaker Studio - Horrible Pixelated Platformers and Candy Crush clones as far as the eye can see

I'd actually recommend gamemaker to kids who want to try and learn coding, I might get shot for saying this but Roblox is also good for kids to learn coding (but holy hell keep them off the game part of Roblox) I'm talking like 12 year old who is seriously interested in learning coding. It's cool there are so many resources like Gamemaker and the community that can help foster the next generation of people who make shitty games on Steam (and the three people out of that group that make a not shit game)

I used to be mad into I Wanna be the Guy Fangames which are almost exclusively made in gamemaker. They're p ugly, but amazing games. Like the physics and scripting are solid considering theres a premade engine online for fangames.
