Gamergate: The Movie - Unfortunately a real thing being made - Hide the booze so Jaimas doesn’t drink himself to death

An E-sports movie that makes e-sports its core focus? I just don't see it working.

With thematically similar sports films, like say 'Bend it Like Beckham' or even 'She's the Man,' the 'sports' segments of the film are entertaining to watch. E-sports, not so much. It's not like a real e-sports match, either, as the main appeal for fans is being emotionally invested with the teams they back.

How would a filmmaker approach an e-sports film? They've set themselves a bit of a challenge here, since there's no established way to do these things besides copying the format of sports films.

Page has the face to be Wu-esque tranny but they'll need fancy camera tricks to make her look 7ft tall.

Bets on whose playing the Mundane Matt of the film seeing as he started GamerGate

What's the budget on this thing? We've reached the point of shit movies being made for an audience composed entirely of "journalists".
Money laundering? Maybe for boosting the credentials of everyone involved with production to elevate them within the cut-throat hollywood heirarchy? It seems plausible.

And will be a lot less entertaining

At least the Law & Order episode was so awful that it became an unintentional comedy.
No joke, the Law and Order episode is the fucking funniest thing I had ever seen when it came out. Everything about it transcends ineptitude.

There's not much to say about it, it's unintentional comedy at its finest and you should really see it for yourself.

Didn't either Quinn or Wu think it was about them and not Sarkeesian?
