I think the thing to consider here is that normies haven't heard of gg, only the media class uses it as a bogeyman. I would sell it as 'Stephen Lynch is standing up for jobs, Brianna Wu is obsessed with videogames'.

It's done, we've all moved on to different things but some of the dregs of the antis like David Gallant have tried to connect gamergate to the 'alt-right' but normies don't know or care what either of those things are.

It's been easier for guys like Cernovich to jump in to the 'new right' and Trump's hostile takeover than the antis have been able to joining the Democrat party's structure (Wu's flailing attempt in Mass being a sad highlight).

The best way to deal with Zoe Quin's book is to just ignore it. Gamergate was the highlight of her life and now it's over. She hasn't really been able to resposition herself because she's a vapid BPD-afflicted emotional vampire. Likewise with Wu, she feeds off attention, negative or otherwise. I think the thing to do now is to let her fail in this attempt and go back to obscurity.

And that might prompt Wu to say how dumb teens on gaming sites got her all paranoid with death threats on Twitter and a performance artist posing as a fake marine and gamer commander coming for her life as shown on some TV show from Syfy. Prompt a response in how this is still related to the credibility of a politician.
 
Most normal people would feel (correctly) when told about it that gamergate is gay nerd shit, and people who get that angry online about videogames are man/womanchildren don't have lives or a great grip on reality. This is a great argument against bribri, because how can a guy who loses his goddamn mind over pixels be trusted to run a state government?
 
Wow, Gamergate was a long time ago now.

Hope, since hindsight is 20/20, we now realize how useless it was.
