Musk was the other cofounder of PayPal and he helped unpoz Twitter, so not sure how that’s an argument.

What is this future police state organization about? I’d like to know more.
>musk was the other cofounder of paypal and he's also a rino globalist born in a different country who wants to replace americans with third worlders to make his bottom line go up
please stop shitting up the thread

You know there are still a lot of smaller alt-media whose original accounts are still banned on Xitter? AmazingPoly is one. Having a vote to let people back on isn't exactly all freezie peaches, and the whole Grock/xAI thing is milking the same random word machine (LLMs) bullshit.

Can you elaborate on what makes Thiel and Palantir bad?
I have asked this question multiple times in various threads and not one person has even attempted to answer it.
Just because nobody has answered you and maybe you really are that ignorant, Whitney Webb does a great breakdown of Peter Thiel's connections to the CIA:

James Corbett has a three part series on him, plus several other interviews:

If you want something in his defense, well at least he doesn't want women to vote .. so, based? .. well except for that whole "democracy and freedom are incompatible" thing.

We are getting closer to a lolcow arc / troon out as Steve leans more and more on moralfagging and clickbait. ‘Waaaaaah! Nvidia is making money! Waaaaah!’ where’s our fan measurements? Meanwhile JayzTwoCents bros stay winning.
IMO he's already a lolcow and people are just in denial because they're parasocial simps (similar to how people are with Rossmann). And like Rossmann he's very selective and hypocritical in regards to the things he gets outraged at - OH GOD, THESE AI DATACENTRES ARE WASTING ELECTRICITY AND KILLING THE PLANET!! (UNLIKE GAMING PCS WHICH USE NO ELECTRICITY AND RUN ON MAGIC)

He runs a business that literally caters to an audience (gamers) that use massive amounts of computing power to do entirely worthless things. If he were consistant in his morals he'd disavow the entire gaming market and make videos about people killing the planet by grInding levels in WoW or playing Minecraft or whatever.

I don't see how he's a lolcow. He can be cringey and pedantic at times, and he seems to have a fixation on a few different topics but that is very different from being a lolcow. Making the comparison between gaming PCs and AI datacenters is absurd, its the same sort of argument that politicians make to ban gas stoves instead of better regulating the emissions from heavy industry.

"Just to be clear here, because we are getting into two very different parts of politics and government with these two branches, I'm just gonna go on record and say it... I really don't think any of these people know what the fuck they're doing with ruling on technology"

Yea me too Steve... me too.

Looking at how AMD and Intel stopped pursuing the high-end consumer GPU market, do you guys think they planned the current situation all along?

That would be a conspiracy, right?

That’s stupid. Why would the three biggest tech companies, who’s c-suite employees are all related to each other, game the system to make trillions. No this is all organic, nothing to see here.

I'm sure they planned to lock themselves out of the biggest tech boom of the decade, definitely.

Occam's razor says that they can't compete with Nvidia's high end offerings for the home user market and after they've crunched the numbers they've decided that it would bring a loss trying to make a 4090/5090 killer so they called it quits.

Remember that AMD and Intel have their own enterprise GPU lines for AI computing and they're directly competing with Nvidia in that regard. Us consumers were small game for years now and Nvidia flooded the market with cheap shitty GPU's like the 5070 or the 5060 where neither AMD nor Intel have a chance at competing on the higher price ranges, especially when the entire market is oversaturated by Nvidia and barely anyone considers AMD or Intel as an option.

Just like late Gordon Mah Ung said, everyone will bitch and moan, but then they'll buy Nvidia anyways.

Is it equally conspiratorial to point out that they're just retarded? I think not. Intel was stuck on 14nm++++ for like 8 years or something, and AMD has never measured up to nvidia.

This was mostly because they had zero competition from AMD or any other cpu brand, so why even bother going fast developing a new node when you can just have an smaller team trying their luck for 8 years in a technology that hasn't worked during that period?
I think the prior CEO had the right vision of heavily investing in foundries and fast paced development of new nodes to be competitive again, it's a shame that he got ousted before finishing his work, because that's probably the only way it could have made intel get out their hole.

THIS. The TDS has caught up to Steve. Doesn't he know that Trump is using Palantir to help save the USA from threats like Indians and browns? I much rather have a high trust society with a little bit less privacy than a free for all shitshow like san Francisco where I can get stabbed just walking around the corner. Of course, Steve probably lives in a gated community with a hundred cameras everywhere (far more than muh palantir btw) so he can preach from his moral ivory tower. Perhaps he should go out and touch grass first.
I prefer Trump/Republicans over Biden/Kamala/Newsom/Democrats, but I side with GamersNexus here, this is a genuine issue that they artificially support more than they should things like OpenAI, because of the hype.
Also, GamersNexus is one of the least TDS affected tech channels I know. He said he doesn't care about your political side, he mentioned that it is a bi-partisan support the push for Palantir, OpenAI, Flock, etc.

Ironic how LTT and his cronies are so eager to "support the current thing", but they don't dare to criticize Nvidia.
