Why learn anything if you just win anyway? Gamergate failed, and anyone attacked or who was involved on the left saw a massive career boost.

If anything, today's journalists are chomping at the bit for the advancement opportunities being on the receiving end of harmless customer outrage can bring. If I were willing to exchange my dignity and purpose in life for money, the most efficient manner to become rich without talent is just to write outrage article after outrage article and fake seething on twitter. Fortunes have been made on it, just look at half of the people at Tall Poppy.

There is a reason why you should never show an ounce of respect or kindness to the Journalists of today. Their job is to harness the anger and feelings of powerlessness the average person feels as an engine of profit.

Rule as old as the world- if someone wants to hide something- this has to be blasted because innocent people don't put this much effort into hiding it. Of course there are exceptions, but Kotaku isn't it.

I don't even search for torrents first anymore, I just Google search "internet archive" or "wayback machine" and then the title of whatever media I'm looking for. 7 times out of 10 its on there.

So they're fine with stealing (and tbh so am I), but heaven forbid they host anything KF related.
