Paul Tassi of Forbes is in a slapfight against Grok. And Grok wins the argument. How pathetic of clickbait gaming journalists like Paul Tassi losing to an AI like Grok.

Last "man" I saw get raped this hard by a chat bot was Will Stancil. I don't know who programmed Grok but it senses weakness in its prey to a degree an African lion would be envious of.

This isn't even the first one. "Aftermath" was another one that's come up in this thread before, been around since the end of 2023, doesn't get shit for traffic. So even this latest batch of retards can't be original, and is competing for an even smaller niche of traffic
Ah, yes, the one co-owned by wokescold Nathan Grayson. Speaking of, he did a podcast pushing the new platform and they go "Haha, mothers in games, amirite fellow gamers?"

Mother! Do you get it yet?! *proceeds to list no actual mothers*

But worry not, they quickly turn to a more cringe topic: fujo shipping.

And they have Jason Schreier's seal of approval! Plus a Mercante plug!
It's kinda tragic that this group is so utterly filtered and irrelevant that these two old has-beens count as the old guard endorsement for games journos.

But worry not, they quickly turn to a more cringe topic: fujo shipping.
Makes sense because at most the women interested in their shit are just fujosshi to begin with, and not even just for the gay crap. Japan really did come up with a great term that can be used to readily describe so many people in the west. "rotten woman".

Tons of industry urinalists are boosting their new site, but I personally can't wait for this article on how restricting player choice is actually a good thing. And in Dragon Age, no less!
I noticed this one when acvalens expressed an interested in joining, a day after he said he was stepping away from journalism: https://kiwifarms.st/threads/ana-va...torphd-acvalens-ac_valens.54511/post-23400109

So what's the deal with Highguard and Geoff Keighley being strangely "assertive" in it's not-official marketing?

I posted about Mothership before and they've officially launched. Let's check out their first few days of journalism:

Tee-hee, woman moment!

Conventional beauty standards, am I right, gorlz?

"OMG, the world isn't tumblr 24/7?! It's just so hard for queer, tranny POCs making basic bitch swap-3 games!"

This one is written by the founder of The Mary Sue, no other comment needed.

Off to a great start! If at some point anyone loses their mind for a second and subs to these losers, please archive every article. It'd make for a nice point and laugh gallery in a few months ❤️

They need articles to explain to them that someone breaking your Switch doesn't loves you ? What the fuck ?
These people are retards, writing for retards. If they were reasonably socially adjusted they wouldn't be continuing to waste their time claiming to be "game journalists" while clearly never doing any such thing. Besides, it might even be topical for them if someone in their polycule went into a soy rage and broke someone else's switch.

Lol funny, but damn, does no one put these articles through Grammerly or something? There's a bunch of mistakes on top of the weird writing style. I'll let it pass if he's shitting on Schreier though...

Funny how a bunch of comments are just people wanting Outer Wilds 2 instead of Outer Worlds.

Daily reminder moot is a faggot
I would not take anything what Zoë Quinn says happened especially if she takes credit for it.

As far as a meta-question for this thread goes, I remember thinking myself (and this wasn't an uncommon sentiment) that I wanted to be a video game journalist because schools told us to write about stuff and effectively getting paid to play video games and write about them seemed like a dream job. In the 1990s and much of the 2000s these sort of things were 90% white males anyway. Nowadays, these sorts of jobs are filled with people who wanted more prestigious journalism jobs and make it clear that they hate video games, they hate you, and they hate themselves. The questions remain, though. When did this dream die? It died a long time before Gamergate, that was when all these sorts of things were getting further and further out of hand. And had it always been the case? Sure, there was absolutely the pay-for-play going on, where major publishers generally got sucked off...a lot of early Nintendo Power was extremely soft on what games were terrible, and usually the objectively terrible games weren't talked about. But I can't imagine in the mid-1990s the industry was filled with bitter fags who cried about pretending to like childrens' toys rather than being a hard-hitting journalist for the New York Times.
