The movie was good, though. For as hit and miss (and more often miss) as King is as a writer, some great movies have been based on his works.
Well, it did have Christopher Walken in it. I honestly feel like he would be entertaining reading a Cuisinart service manual. Though I generally agree many of the movies made from King's books are better than the books (I know saying that puts him in a murderous rage though).

He hates that the greatest movie ever made has his name on it.

Maximum Overdrive is peak American cinema and I will take no questions or statements.

The various movie and TV adaptations of IT not having them run a train on the girl character already makes them better than the books.

I still maintain that someone needs to check King's hard disk, the guy has definitely diddled children.
Reminds me of whats his name hating Fifth Element and Zorg even tho Zorg is one of his greatest roles and Fifth Element has a fantastic movie.
Gary Oldman?

Great actor, but does come across as a pretentious faggot.

Nobody put a gun to his head and told him to take on the role, and he was paid more to ham it up than most of us will ever make in a decade, so all these Hollywood celebrities should just shut up and put the circumcised cock in their mouth and blow.

Usually because the films ignore 99% of his novels and just take a couple of ideas and do their own thing. He has been seething about a lot of them for decades and wants to remake them to be more accurate to his plots. All the more accurate remakes have been complete shit massive failures

Yeah, The Shining is an obvious one, the Kubrick version is considered a masterpiece the King remake is basically forgotten.

Will Borger of IGN wrote this bad review of a fun game like Mouse: P.I. For Hire, and this is his reaction.

EDIT: Will Borger is going damage control on the Bluesky hivemind.

And this is also the same Will Borger (not on IGN) that gave shitty woke games like Dustborn an 8/10, while giving Crimson Desert a 5/10.

Just gonna take a second to point out that faggot assed "Not here, find me on Bluesky" virtue signal. The fact they always feel the need to post that ON THEIR TWITTER is a better condemnation of their little social media front hole than anything I could ever say.

Bluesky is basically Twitter/X but bad (and with more faggots).

Typical “games journalist” - instead of realizing they have the critical skills of a cumsock, their only takeaway is OH BOY I GOT ATTENTION!

Congrats, now many more people can see that you’re a fucking moron.
I'm sorry, is there a punishment for being a fucking moron? No?

Is he rewarded for attention? Yes?

Well then.

We get what we incentivize. Until the economic incentive changes to be "do your job well" instead of "get attention no matter what" theater kids will continue to dominate and ruin these industries. What do they care if the review is shit? They got paid.

The real question is how every industry they've infected hasn't collapsed? How many times can Disney/Ubisoft/Microsoft/etc spend billions to lose millions without the bill coming due?

I know this is 2 years old but did anyone link this here
There's a good deal of stuff (okay, everything) that he simply blew past, ignored, or was passive-aggressive about (not to mention the "I am better than you" attitude), but the REAL test of game journos is how well they handle criticism. The slightest pushback on social media basically gets some variation of "go fuck yourself".

I wish DeepFreeze updated past 2017, I'm sure they'd build a dossier on this guy.
