I find this to be pretty stupid since the developers put them in the game to be used.

I mean like...the devs in MGS V put in the chicken hat too so...

I wouldn't call using the tranq guns cheating, but it certainly does make it easier. The whole "no kill, no alert" run isn't that impressive to me unless someone does it without the tranq weapons.

Been a while since I played 3, but iirc the tranq wasn't an instant win button due to having limited silencers.
