What game(s) is on your wishlist that you seriously want to play (It can be released or unreleased)?

Currently, mine is the DayZ standalone. I want it, but not for 30 bucks. I'll be patient and wait for a steam sale.

Right now I'm actually really sedate in terms of games I want. There's only a handful of titles I wanna get for my ps3, stuff like GTA 3's ps2 port. I'm not in any hurry mind you and I can wait a while.

I am sort of eying a PS vita though... Still won't get one till they're more hackable. I'm also tempted to get a PS Vita TV.

I'm getting hyped for Kingdom Come: Awakening Deliverance. "Historical" sandbox RPG taking place in the Holy Roman Empire, without cheesy fantasy elements? With Cry Engine 3? Yes, please!

I just looked that game up. I think you mean "Deliverance", not "Awakening" (I looked it up and all I got were a bunch of Christian websites). The game looks pretty good, and the sword mechanics look better than Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. Also, it looks like they got more than what they needed on kickstarter to fund it. I'll keep my eye on it.

Another game I want is The Banner Saga. The viking strategy rpg. I'm waiting for the GOG release because I like to get games without any DRM when I can.

For Systems I have:
-Bravery Default (3DS)
-Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)
-Pokemon Bank (3DS)
-Tales of Symphonia Chronicles (PS3)

For Systems I don't have:
-Chrono Trigger (Android/iphone)
-Final Fantasy I (Android/iphone)
-Final Fantasy II (Android/iphone)
-Final Fantasy III (Android/iphone)
-Final Fantasy IV (Android/iphone)
-Final Fantasy IV: The After Years (Android/iphone)
-Final Fantasy V (Android/iphone)
-Final Fantasy VI (Android/iphone)
-Final Fantasy Dimensions (Android/iphone)

You're of course right, got my generic titles mixed up. ;)

currently i want
-Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl
-Hearts of Iron 2 and 3
-Papers, Please
-ArmA II

  • Dragon Age: Inquisition
    Watch Dogs
    Fable Anniversary
    Fallout: New Vegas
    Baldur's Gate games
Neverwinter Nights maybe 2nd one too
    Oblivion
RPG Maker EX Ace too bad my trial ended
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning I know about the controversy, but from my understanding it's still a good game

I think that's it for now.

Watch_Dogs, Starbound (completed), Dark Souls II, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, FTL: Advanced Edition.

Some recent RPG games on Steam:

Hero Siege
Our Darker Purpose
The Castle Doctrine
Saturday Morning RPG

... and probably more in my Steam wishlist.

I'd like to try A Link Between Worlds, as it's a sequel to the first video game I ever really played. When it came out, though, I was really struggling and scraping to pay for my last semester of Grad school. Now that I'm over that post-release rush, I'm waiting for the price to drop or for used copies to fill the market.

I'm looking forward to Watch_Dogs. I think that's the only thing I'm actively waiting for.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Star Wars Dark Forces 2: Jedi knight
Sir, you are being hunted.

It's nice that people are interested in the STALKER games. I recommend playing the first game with no mods the first time around to get a feel it.

- Another Zelda game. I would play the hell out of a Majora's Mask remake.
- A Yume Nikki fangame that's finished and has actual quality to it. Or even an updated version of the original Yume Nikki.
- Another sequel to Hatoful Boyfriend. This game developer understands my obsession with ornithology. :heart-full:
- Mother 3 released in the United States.

I'd love to see Majora's Mask rereleased for 3DS. I really enjoyed replaying Ocarina of Time. Also, a brand new Zelda for Wii U would be awesome.

Also, Nintendo should rerelease Yoshi's Island on Virtual Console/eShop. I wonder why they haven't done that; it's such a great game. I still have the Gameboy Advance version though. I might check out the new game coming out on 3DS, though from what I've seen it looks pretty similar to the original.

Well, play it for a few hours. Then download a mod like Oblivion Lost and see just what you were missing.

I played STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl vanilla the first time around, and I hated the game.

I hated the aesthetic, I hated how easy the game was to exploit and get super powerful equipment really early on when you weren't supposed to, I hated how it crashed frequently, I hated so much about it because I thought it was a genuinely great game with severe flaws. The game also crashed at the brain scorcher and wouldn't allow me to continue whatsoever. So I stopped playing it.

Then I tried LURK

Literally, every single thing I said above was fixed via LURK. It was such a dramatic improvement over vanilla it's basically SoC "The good edition". To put it into perspective, GSC Game World was asked back in like 2008-2009 why they weren't going to continue patching Shadow of Chernobyl. And they stated that the fanbase fixed the game better than they ever could. I'll post a few comparisons between vanilla and LURK
