TTT is the best mode, all the rp's are boring as shit, Melonbomber is awesome but barely anyone plays it, and my game crashes if I try to use cinema, most of the others are ok.
Always love pissing off a server by mass rdming, false reporting is funny as shit too.

the server has bronies that post porn in the theaters and spam memes and annoying shit in their mics and in the text chat, they kill you on site with weapons, just dont go to that server. the server is radiating with excessive levels of autism.

years ago, there was a gamemode that was quite popular on Gmod called, Gmod Tower.

it was a gamemode that started in 2009 by Pixeltail Games. who also made the Cinema (a gamemode with a screen player in a theater map that plays youtube videos) and Source Elevator gamemodes (some gamemode where you wait in an elevator that takes you to different floors)

it was pretty popular, even some known youtube gamers like captainsparklez, seananners, markiplier, and the yogscast have played on it when it was around

there were gamemodes

Ballrace: its like super monkey ball. collect bananas and go through an obstacle course to finish it

Minigolf: its minigolf, and the maps seemed creative

Ultimate Chimera Hunt: a mother 3 styled game, you play as pigmasks and try to turn off the ultimate chimera who is also controlled by a player

virus: you play as survivors that try to stop an infection from spreading.

source karts: a mario kart styled gamemode, you race and later do kart battle.

PVP Deathmatch: a free for all deathmatch where you fight players with weapons

and zombie massacre: an arcade zombie shooter.

there were alot of features gmod tower had

a casino with slot machines and poker tables

a theater that can play youtube videos.

a nightclub that can play music from soundcloud

you can own a condo that you can customize with furniture and tvs that play youtube videos.

I played a ton of GMT back in 2009-2011. It was the only game that filled that void Habbo and Coke Studios left. Tower Unite isn't the same, although I still play it on occasions.

well pixeltail is trying to make it like gmod tower despite the lack of things that gmod tower had. but they couldn't keep the servers running forever.


when Gmod Tower was a thing on garrys mod, pixeltail was getting upset with the servers costs. because of the large amount of content for their servers, thye had to pay valve hundreds of dollars a month. they made a donation thing to help out and keep their servers going a little longer, but they knew it wont last long.

the only soluition MacDGuy (the lead developer of pixeltail) had was to remake the game from the ground up with unreal engine.


so far right now, tower unite is becoming better and better. they just added the workshop playermodel update. theres lots of other game characters that some kiwis here can like. i mean, theres a legion playermodel fro @GethN7, some miku models for @Loxiozzz and some reptile skins for @Kiwi Jeff and @Ido.

and someone even made a playermodel of chris chan.

i actually found out that other people started making gamemodes of the minigames from gmod tower into gamemode servers like ultimate chimera hunt.

its called, Elevator Source

it was made by Pixeltail Games. the same group thatg made Gmod gamemodes Gmod Tower and Cinema. and the makers of Tower Unite.

so the point of this mod is..... you wait in an elevator while listening to some nice elevator musicv from other franchises like the elevator music from goldeneye 007 and dead rising and even thomas the tank engine theme.

it takes you to a bunch of floors that are weird. and even some people board the elevator you are on.

once all the floors have been reached. you are taken to the penthouse at the top floor. which has a blender that you can make juice from, a tv that you can watch youtube videos on, some slot machines that you can play on, and a pool table that you and your friends can play on. and theres even pictures of a skype conversation of MacDGuy and his guys coming up with the idea.

popular gamers on youtube like seananners and chilled chaos and vanossgaming have played the gamemode before.

I think some vids on YT can explain some shit, I only played at least a few times back in 2013 or so.

GMOD is p much dead at this point (As well as the greater source engine community)
Last I heard they added spyware to the executable and garry had another temper tantrum when people weren't pleased.

I wish someone would make a clone or whatever but half the fun was all the valve assets and people pushing source to the limit with an in-engine scripting system. You don't need that anymore now that most game engines are free, cross platform and far easier to use.

Ps. why are sandbox game devs so spergy? The blockland guy is autistic too and notch used to get salty.
