Yeah, I enjoyed a lot of older country as well. Those guys, Travis Tritt, Dwight Yoakam, etc. too.

Modern country is definitely way more pop than it is country. There's a few gems here and there, but I lean more towards 'alt country' than anything if I'm in the mood for country stuff.

I know it's unpopular, but screw it. I like some newer country acts like Florida Georgia Line and Cole Swindell. I know it's gay and cringeworthy for a ton of people, but I enjoyed some songs from them. I also enjoy Garth Brooks, Travis tritt, and all of those old country guys too. The only country I don't like is just this brand new rap country era. Shaboozy is basically a rapper with a cowboy hat; how is it considered country? The only new country act that still sounds country is Scotty McCrerey, Jason Aldean, and maybe a handful of others, but this whole country just doesn't sound the same.

Nah, I mean like what you like. I don't hate pop country or anything, although certain artists do annoy the fuck out of me. FGL being one of them.
