Denton will be one of the only people at Gawker not to move to Univision. Gawker president Heather Dietrick and much of the company's staff is expected to join Univision. As part of its bid, Univision agreed to keep at least 95 percent of Gawker's current staff, assume Gawker's current union contract with the Writers Guild of America-East and take over Gawker's current leases in both New York and Budapest.
