I got promoted at work, now Im a supervisor.
I can now boss niggers around and take an hour long lunch break.
Only down side is I have to deal with pajeets who want to rip our company off more directly...

Also got MegaBonk. Fun.

I am about to play TF2 and drink for the rest of the evening
I made the best batch of sourdough bread yet this week, so pretty good.

The guy who makes A Fox In Space did a pretty good tribute to this.

I'm going to miss the hotter weather from summer :( But that just means growing Winter Skillz™ and learning to enjoy the cold season. Wool socks and long johns seasons. Also cocoa. Watched a video about how pouring a drink between glasses makes it "aerated" somehow. Usually it's done with lemonade, but apparently it's good for hot cocoa too. Maybe it's good for hot cider. Speaking of cider: hot spiced cider and spiced wafers go hand in hand right now. It's the perfect cool fall night for it, and there'll be plenty more :)

Hopefully it isn't seen as spam to go on random user's profile to wish them a good day. I just wanted to be nice to people

I've been fine other than having a bit of the flu bug the past several days, but I can't complain, family is overall healthy. Thanks for asking Null, even though it is out of character. Good to see you trying to connect with the youth by using a chudjak.

It isn't. Most people appreciate it from what I know. There's some who wouldn't like it, but you would know. Most people like kind words once in a while :)

Remove the stem and insides, keep the seeds for roasting if you want, throw away the spaghetti-like parts. Slice it and don't peel it. Bake the slices, and then peel. Then you mash the baked pumpkin and use it like you would canned pumpkin.
You can steam the pumpkin slices if you prefer (and if you have a big enough pot). This gives you a more even color. With steaming it helps to peel first.

If you make too much to use at once, put the mashed pumpkin in zip-top bags and freeze them. Freeze them FLAT and then you can stack them on their side once they're solid.

Also you can use butternut squash instead of pumpkin in anything. It's got a better meat:junk ratio, and it's easier to grow. You can stack it in the garage until you're ready to process a batch of it. Make the children help. Mashing is cool, but a hand grinder is better if you're cooking a garden's worth of hard-rind squash. Children are great at turning the crank for a hand grinder.

Plus the name "hand grinder" is literally what happens if you put your hand in there, which kids appreciate and will help them remember not to put their hands in there.

If you have no child labor to exploit you can get a Kitchenaid attachment instead.

Just started my entry for Ludum dare this weekend, so doing pretty well. Week was weird, but mostly because I was phoning in the dayjob and getting ready for this jam, because priorities.

Husband made some bangin' pizza mac & cheese with onion, mushroom & lil pepperonis and the 4 month baby is content tonight so far.

Hubby lost his temp job with pay but hoping something else comes up soon. Trying to be optimistic.
