I went to an apple festival (not the os) with Corydoras Jr. I saw someone wearing an Extreme Peace shirt so that was kinda weird. Otherwise nice and I hope other kiwis embrace seasonality.

I had this in my files from 2021, around when the background art call went out. IIRC, I grabbed this from the thread (from 2021) that called for background art, it’s decent quality when viewed in full, but the old thread (probably in Arts & Lit sub forum in Off Topic) may have a better copy:

I get what you’re saying, though can’t think of a way to change the ramping up vitriol, right now. You lose one thing, but gain another problem in implementing solutions when it comes to speech. What I’ve seen here usually comes down to legal versus illegal. I’ve been annoyed by jeets for years, but since jeet hate is now The Next Big Thing, particularly in certain political circles, added with the ramping up of jew hate from all directions, it gets a bit much, often.

It’s a tricky & ever thinning line between the overall perception of someplace like this forum & not turning into the Daily Stormer, more & more in the current political climate. Hyperbole & bandwagons from many sources, don’t help. The “racism bit” has graduated from being more on the humor side to straight out chorus of disgust so more people will begin to take the “evil nazi” lies about this place seriously.

People should talk about these things, say what they like, dislike, love, & hate, & should keep in mind the differences of a forum where anyone can say what they think & a place like the Stormer that’s known for extremism. I’d hate to see KF turn into a place where the only users constantly jewpost & jeetpost, in anger & calls for death. Many out there don’t get the bit, the meme & only see “total jewjeetnigger death” & hear about jeets (plus) on every MATI lately, & it starts to seem some type of way. Everyone’s personal mileage will vary. I see more & more people getting burnt by the level plus frequency of what used to be called the racism bit. It’s not going to be very popular to discuss, probably, though could be useful to have a thread on this topic if enough people would like to.

Busy week for me for both school and work. Had two terrible migraines because of it. Taking a business trip next year in May.
