Should add AO-chan to that since during Ina's last QnA stream, she offhandedly mentioned AO was a "she" and that she might draw an anthropomorphized human version of "her" in the future as well as hinted at the possibility that "she" might directly join in on Ina's future streams, and chat went a bit wild with enthusiasm at the notion.

For context this is Ao chan in a normal day

This is my personal favorite Ao-chan comment

I do think it's a good idea that they're being a little more pushy with the chat rules by using pinned messages and whatnot. The HoloID girls use it and take no prisoners when it comes to calling out shite behavior in their chats. But, of course, their audiences are decidedly smaller so it's easier to keep dipshits in line.

So is it really just a bunch of SEA chinks stirring shit again? Fucking speds.
Obligatory "not all..."
oh fuck it who am i kidding?

IMO they need to put their foot down and start enforcing it, i believe Null said it in one of his streams that part of the enjoyment in streaming is the chat. If it looks like a wet market in china, wheres the fun in that? spamming shit like "Feeder", "Pog" etc doesn't get funnier the next 400 times.

Damn, I thought she was kind of cute in her debut but oh well I guess. She just debuted a few days ago and she's just trying to use this to get recognized.
If Artemis is trans and is ok with it, it must be ok. Does Riiri even HRT, bro?

I Find it intresting that trans persons hate the word trap, if you are honest to your partners, that word shouldnt have much meaning.
Most are honest anyway, either through attention whoring on Twitter or (most respectable ones) for their own safety.

Most see the word trap and think Gwen Araujo, not some anime

Riiri isn't trans. She says she's just dealt with shit as a bisexual so she cares about this. Personally, I agree with them in that it shouldn't be used against trans people (unless they call themselves traps). Trap was always an anime term for crossdressing boys that REALLY passed. Westerners love getting into anime culture but then insisting it change for them.

They say it's okay for trans people to say it "reclaimed" and all that...Except it's not even theirs to reclaim. It's literally a term for cartoon crossdressers.

Also, looking through her reblogs, there's so many "as a trans/enby/whatever vtuber" like no one cares, just play your character. Look at how the major vtubers don't have their pronouns/orientation in their profiles.

It's because actually transphobic people would use the word as a slur, like the Grand Dragon of the KKK. The anime community doesn't use it that way, but when people tried to point it out to that community's mods on reddit, they acted like a bunch of self-righteous cunts to the point where they actually burned a subreddit to the ground.

Has anyone ever seen someone use the word trap in a negative way, especially as something anti-trans? I've only ever seen it used to call someone hot.
