Well it looks like im on the minority ( of the already minority of people who watches vtubers) who only likes "cute girls doing goofy cute things" which made me invested on hololive when holoEN started in first place. Now before you raise your pitchforks and accuse me of being a unicorn, no, i dont support the toxic side of idol culture you all hate so much, the girls can collab with a male or another female as long as its not someone that is a troublemaker or someone i dont like, in which i will apply the rule "dont like it, dont watch it" and not sperg about it like /vt/ does.

Holostars JP seems to behave well when they collab with the girls so i have hopium that it will be the same with EN. Its just that i personally dont want it to be glued like The Welsh Man & Mouse, most of the time i just only want to see the girl and its difficult if their companion pop up like 90% of the time.

Also keep in mind that "people hate me because they're idol fans and I'm a male interacting with their queen" was just conur strawmanning hololive fanbase when some people criticized TT on r/hololive -a normie place where ze idol kultur was always the boogeyman. Anitubers were hated before Vtubing was even a thing especially on 4chan.

A reminder that RPR collabed with a bunch of the female talents and no one (not even /vt/) sperged about it, because he is way more respected and "clean" than any anituber. The problem its not males, the controversial ones are.

I haven't watched Valorant much but I think I prefer it to Apex at least. I'd rather watch Towa play Valorant than that, or most other shooters to be honest. I also used to play League for a while before quitting for good about a year and a half ago, I think it's a good spectator game though so I think it would be cool if some of the girls played it. I mean, considering you have 5 girls to a generation you already have a full team right there. The only vtubers I've really watched play League are Ashelia and the C9 vtuber, Vienna. Ashelia's stream was pretty hilarious because of how bad she was. Chat was supportive though.

Niji girls play League. Atleast Elira, Enna and Millie do. Some of the boys also play it. Mysta claims he used to be Platinum before he stopped playing.

It seems that a lot of people in this thread wants to see HolostarsEN perpetually collab with the female counterparts. But, why insist in this to happen when NijiEN or Coner x Mouse already exists? It is because it will be Cover selected male talents? (which involves a less over the top and more tame content compared to Niji or Vshojo)

That is basically it. People expect the HoloEN male talents to be best of the best.

I would argue that stuff like the whole Conner/Calli drama is exactly why we don’t get a lot of male/female collabs, despite everyone here constantly saying it’s fine if they do. Calli just mentioned being friends with Conner and look at all the drawn out dumb bullshit that came out of that.

That's why you double down and have more male talents collabing. Filter those retards out. Some of the indies could benefit from having those retards in their chat.

I've been ruminating on my post from the other day.

A lot of regular streamers I'm watching, or used to watch are vtubers now.

If you think about it Mundane Matt was a vtuber back in the day when he used his animated avatar and not his face.

I like Pippa/Yuni and it was fun seeing her dunk on Ralph, but I honestly can't stand any of these e-celebs, be it Gator, Flamenco, or any of these opportunists.

I could see how it filters some people but to be honest there was always an overlap in the communities. People like Pippa because she isnt like other vtubers.
