I'd be okay with it all if the people involved were talented. It's fine to get people into jobs through connections. It's done all the time. "I know a guy who's really good at Sys Eng stuff. I know we're having problems there". Recomending talented people is fine. The problem being Sana is boring as fuck. I don't hate her. She's just dull. Nepotism implies the people inserted into the job ONLY got the job through connections and don't actually have the talent to follow through.

What I got from her tale is that at some point in highschool she was into another girl (she cleverly uses "they", "shinigami" and "demon" throughout) but was heartbroken on new year's party.
Also this story will fly over the heads of 99% of her fans who have yet to be touched by the opposite sex.
