Just to lightly push back, I don't know if I would consider last night to have been baiting. She didn't post bullets or something she allergic to and say "I'LL EAT THESE YOU THINK I'M JOKING". She's talked about weird stuff off the cuff before, oddly enough mainly on minecraft, seemingly just to have something to talk about or get something of her chest. Granted, she has talked about offing herself at the "height" of her career multiple times and it has almost always been worded like that which is a little troubling.

To me that was honestly the most offensive thing she said, that we, her own fans, would not only OK with her doing it but we would have some sort of clout for being at the stream where she did it. That was one of the most extremely online thing I've heard in awhile. Her saying that she didn't believe chat I think was her just trying to process her own emotions on it. It honestly wouldn't have been that big of a deal, for me at least, until she said about doing it on stream as a final hurrah and that we would think that that's actually a good thing.


Last thought on the matter for now: I don't think she's actually gonna kill herself. If she was she would've done it years ago when she was failing as a content creator. She's just a woman, so crazy is already implied, with kind of a damaged upbringing. As a woman, sometimes she's just got to talk about whatever comes to her little woman head. As a man, sometimes you gotta sit there and listen to whatever insane gobbledygook erupts from her mouth. There's nothing to fix and she doesn't want you to fix it. She just has to vent and that's all I'm chocking up last night to be. I mean, who else does she have to vent to? I don't know if she has any IRL friends. Her family doesn't seem to be online and wouldn't have a grasp on aspects of her life. There's her genmates and a few streamers she's friends with but they all have their own lives, streams, and girly issues. Then there's chat who, for better or worse, is always there and always listening. If that's my role that's my role I guess. No one said that watching a woman pretending to be a pink anime rabbit play video games would be easy.

You do good work Pippa and I'm still rooting for you.

I totally missed this one: During her 2nd live Aqua announced that there will be a Visual Novel of hers. The release date is October 27 this year and the platforms are PS4 and Switch (no PC according to the teaser website), the website will be update with more infos on June 30. In May she tweeted that she had to record a lot of text for it.
Is this the first official commercial game from a (single) vtuber? I know there are fan and little projects/productions but this seems to be of a lot larger scale (full voice over from the real deal etc.).

But actively saying, "we should read the chink comics from the chink app that's hijacking our art tags!" is absolutely fucking stupid even if it's not necessarily people doing it, because it's still caused by the app itself. I love you Pomu, but I think you just drank a shit ton of stupid juice and need to get sober.

To be fair a lot of his stuff was scrubbed and he could have curated a very specific backup to show (as they DO ask to see your content past or present during auditions and your ability to hold a test stream.) I doubt brap girl has anything in her short re-debut that would have impressed Niji out of over 40,000 potentials.

miko had a short vn released, sakura iro dreamer. it was a physical release and limited time only here, but you can still download it here

tsukino mito also wrote a short free vn, nijisanji no type shindan, but that's not commercial unless you stretch it really hard, i just wanted to mention it because it's a funny one
