I'm not worried about Mori or any of her fans. She gets shit from retards all the time. I don't know if any of them are as retarded as Ethan but she's well fortified. I'm more concerned about smaller chuubas who haven't dealt with Internet bullshit for years and end up feeding Ethan's vacuous maw by acknowledging him. Not cope, so much as her company has a business relationship with the organization. This is honestly more than I figured that we'd hear out of her on the topic. Fishman might get redress out of the organizers, but just like the fuckery last year, it will be handled discretely.
Even if you don't like some of his moves, I don't think anyone can credibly dispute that the fish is a professional.

I mean kinda but on the other hand trying to be professional to people scamming you isn't really the best business decision either. Offkai has repeatedly shown themselves to be grossly incompetent at best. Is this really what he wants to tie himself too? I don't see a working relationship here, but then again, I don't run a successful vtubing business.

I think cope is a pretty decent word to describe her statements.
I get the feeling Pippa doesn't want the specter of drama to hang over her and her friends Offkai visit, she and everyone else did seem to have fun and enjoyed their time, but she also isn't deluded enough to not realize there was fuckery about. So in the end we get this weird Half-Defense Half-Cope section where she says everything was mostly fine, but if you truly think Offkai was ran poorly you should volunteer and be the change you want to be. She also sounds utterly sick and tired of the Dramafags following her every move and trying to goad her into dropping more info, even timing out a guy towards the end of the 10 minutes and telling him to rewatch the vod to understand what she's saying. She isn't trying to burn bridges but also isn't saying nothing happened, its a unsatisfying outcome that I think everyone should have expected, Almost offensive in how In-offensive it is.
The only thing I really disagree with is about Offkai being ran by volunteers giving them something of a free pass for the event barely working, If we totally throw out any notion of purposeful fuckery, Offkai still dropped the ball on the technical side in ways even most amateurs don't. Phase paid Offkai thousands of dollars and they still couldn't get their stream to work properly, If this is the fault of volunteers than they should hire some actual professionals to do that stuff. Just because volunteers do it for free doesn't excuse them doing a shit job, If you can't get reliable volunteers to do it, hire someone to.

All this shows is that being fucked over is Phase Connect’s policy number 1. In reality it isn’t, but when you allow yourself to get fucked over thrice, see that they are fucking over friends of the company too, and your go to response is to run defense for people fucking you over; well, there’s only one interpretation Offkai is going to get from this. It doesn’t matter what Fishman might have told them in private, because Offkai now knows; Phase will cuck.
Whether or not Phase would cuck is up to Sakana, of course, but anyone who wants to fuck Phase over will be taking very careful notes. Phase isn’t projecting an image of strength, but of submission. I understand this sort of bullshit is the last thing Sakana wants to think about, and I sympathize. But he’s running a business.
I sympathize with Pippa and Sakana, but I respectfully think these are the wrong cards to play. We’ll see, though. Perhaps he is working behind the scenes to determine what is salvageable of their relationship before doing anything excessive.

Someone on TVA threw out Phase might have signed a 2 year contract with OffKai. Could have a no disparaging clause or something to that effect. But considering the source is a volunteer told me I'm doubtful here. Kind of furthers the cucking of Phase if Phase signed a contract where con staff fucked with your shit all weekend and you can't publicly blast the company and you still have to show in another year and be fucked again.
