On the Zen thing, chances are he's stressed about his new house and needs irl income or something or it's some sort of health thing. Someone on Reddit mentioned he said he wouldn't be able to take breaks for the rest if the year which implies he's got to make money to pay bills while paying for, I dunno, maybe chemo treatments.

The other, more amusing possibility is that because Vshojo actually took off and is getting gen 2, they don't want a male member since that's the reputation Zen has. OR something is going on behind the scenes and Zen has been accused. Maybe they told Zen the TTS shit isn't going to cut it and as more talent comes in, he's going to fall into obscurity. Who knows?

Oh shit, maybe the reason why they let Zen in the first place was to portrait themselves as the reverse of Hololive with “hue hue hue fuck seiso, we let a guy in etc.” Vshojo is growing fairly big still no major komiket or komicon invite like Hololive so I think someone behind the scene might come up with idea to kick out the troon Zen or create a subdivision for him and call it “VShonen” or sth like that. This way they can legitimately get into JP markets with their “true to advertising” (Nyanners with Kizuna Ai world tour recently might make them rethink their expand strategy). Love her or hate her, I notice more more JP and KR comments on Nyanners clip and VODs on her channels.

With western woke comics from DC Marvel literally go to the trash 🗑 and JP manga and anime take most of western market share, I’ll say it’s a good move from Vshojo (if it’s true then the dead weight like Veibae will be next since her stunt on trashing corpo Vtubers and Hololive will come back bite her in the ass eventually).
