Corporate mascot vtubers have been present on JP side from the very early days, it's not really a surprise. They usually either provide normal chuba content with only mild shilling or are used for presentations.
Some examples:
That being said, she claims to be unofficial so it's a bit of a mutually beneficial crossover situation. She has a cameo in one of the Compile Heart's games too.

Yeah, that was rough to watch. We've all (or mostly all) been there, perfectly understandable to take a few days.

In terms of streaming, she's had setback after setback, but it's good that she's allowed and able to put life first when necessary, and I like how open she is with her viewers (as long as she knows where the line is, and there's no reason to believe she doesn't).

The hardest part is realizing that one day it will all be over and it could be any day. Unfortunately for her it was yesterday when that day came to pass. You don't have to understand what it means to lose a pet, you just have to sympathize with her and at least have some compassion you fag.

Didnt get a screenshot but there's a HL EN Council manager account that commented on Sana stream. Makes me wonder what happened to AO-chan.

This timing really sucks for Sana though, almost as bad as Akirose's accident after debut stopping her streaming for a long while. They're both such sweet dears but sadly the world is an unforgiving place and this could very well mean that Sana will end up much the same as Aki with a relatively smaller but dedicated fanbase.

Random aside, HL skews my perception on numbers a bit but in general how many views would it take to consider a cover or original song a not failure? Scaling like 10% of sub count? Static like 50k view threshold?

It's her friend, not mine, and I dont dislike Sana.
All I'm saying is that, if you didnt know anything about it, and you saw her weeping you would immediately assume it was over a relative, not over a dog.
I understand being really sad over your childhood pet, but crying about it the same way a normal person would mourn their parents is unbelievably weird to see and throws me off.

Its not about expecting if I may say, but rather how she was taken aback right after streaming and getting to post all the fun things she wanna do with her fans.

Had to get that off my chest is all. Because I relate a lot with Sana here (watching vod rn), losing someone (not a pet but still) that was extremely close to me. I know the pain of losing something very important to you. So watching her cry, it hurts.
