Fake and gay they are being bankrolled by Soyny now, iirc her model has been around for a while, but hey i would call crunchy based if they remove money from the troons to pay for vchubbing, the cancer needs to go

I might have missed it but she didn't talk about the overall vibe, just her... priorities (removable jacket, navel, sleeveless, etc.) Also apparently the outfits were not supposed to be out in October but they are for reasons.
i could swear i have seen that outfit somewhere but i dont remember where, on Macross? forgot anyway good for her

Also, Astel seems to be teasing an announcement for Holostars in a few days. Anyone have more info on this? New members or perhaps an overseas branch?
I think the announcement will have to do with 3D stuff. The remaining members and possibly a big 3D collab. I doubt any new members or auditions will be announced.

I think people here missed the news, but there's an update about HoloAlt, and its a big one. Massive, even
So apparently HoloAlt's main project now is a Metaverse named HoloEarth, just as Yagoo wanted in a certain Q&A. And on that front, they're going to make:
-An Open-World Sandbox game. Yes you read it right, a Hololive GAME
-"Communication Lobby", most likely something like a VRChat
-Avatar Creation System (exactly what it says)
They're also going to release other stuffs, like the Twitter Manga soon, and also disc release of HoloAlt's song. Oh, and there's also going to be a new PV in 2022. As for the game, they say the talents are going to play the prototype in November

So my prediction is correct, they really are going to make Hololive/Holostars more than just streaming, but also a multimedia group. So that's why they're insisting on keeping the lore going, especially with HoloCouncil. So that's why they seem to be very busy and delaying stuffs like costume and so. What surprised me is the game announcement. I know Yagoo wants to make a Metaverse, its the hottest stuff right now, but this soon? What a madlad...

600~ is not totally atypical for NijiEN. If one of their livers is doing a stream that is not particularly interesting and is in a crowded timeslot, that's about what they'll get. With Wave 3 these lower numbers are going to be a bit more common due to the increased stream overlap. Nijisanji is ultimately probably fine with that - it's a viable number (hence why HoloID and Holostars are also still around) - though I do think it'd be wise for them to do what they've done in JP and slow down the EN expansion after wave 4. If Petra's comment about management not having further auditions planned out is true then that might be their strategy.

We also need to consider the streaming material. Nina has mostly had zatsudans (half of which not in English) and watchalongs. Not exactly showstopper material, and Night in the Woods and Portal 2 aren't crazy solid picks, either.

I saw @Rezza mention how 'not good' the numbers are, too, though I can't reply directly to his comment, but there's context to every number that gets thrown around.

It isn't fair to look at NijiEN as they are right now and ask why they aren't pulling the same numbers as a group with a V-Tuber monopoly of Twitch and HoloEN. VSHOJO is comprised of a group of Indies who were already successful and helmed by the likes of Nyanners who has been at the grind for a decade. The story of HoloEN's success goes without saying. NijiEN have only been in operation for 5 months with very little foothold of the EOP market to begin with. None of these groups are at the same stage of existence and so a 1:1 comparison is bound to be skewed.

By all accounts, having nearly 2K people watching Pomu take a shower on stream yesterday is a sign they're carving their way into the industry.

Did everyone read their bunny mandated Japanese Steven Universe chapters for tonight? Do your homework.
Looking back to check what chapter volume 1 ends at, I found something amusing that I didn't notice until now.

Yagooverse will be a thing, like the Nasuverse but the power creep happen every year

Just going to drop a little bit more info about Black Surge Night, the game is almost entirely an AL ripoff, with the difference being that in this game you play for the "other" side, which means upgrading the characters wind up with them becoming an edgier version of themselves, which makes the collab interesting just to see whether they'll go through with the idea of corrupting Niji characters or just ignore the only difference that separates this game from being another AL clone
I think I remember seeing something about this game. My small gacha grou were making fun of how it looked like a clone and the only thing they did was make it so as you level/rank'd up your units they got more edgier.

Kson body, at least on the rigging, cost about "a year worth of rent"

So let's say 1.200,000 yen = around $10,500 + Yaman illustration and working in close contact with Kson and Rigger for three or more month. I can see it end up around $20,xxx. Sound about right, considering the general top-tier of the market model cost around $3,000 to $5,000. Definitely not $100k.

I can see Kson as a type that would refuse the discount and forced him to take bonus for amazing job though. Especially since she had openly told her fan who made a song for her to properly send her a receipt so she can pay him.
More on this story from her latest stream. Paraphrased from a summary of a fan so just read it as a fun tidbit.
Kson told a story about how she paid Himono (rigger) fully in advance because Himono was really short on money at the moment. The price is actually for both the illustration and rigging work. After a while, Himono contact her and said that she can't come up with a design that she's satisfied with and don't think she deserve the full payment, so she try to give Kson a fuck ton of discount and basically return a lot of money, but Kson think Himono rigging work is already worth the price by itself (imo I agree) and refused to pay her for less.
It's all end well when Yaman came in and give them the perfect design. She think Himono is very honest and professional to be so upfront about it instead of doing a mediocre job and keep the money.

Are people unironically complaining about someone streaming longer than the normal 2 hours? Like, they know they can just leave, right?

I love Anya. She gives 0 fucks and won't take shit from anybody.

Just saw this, lmao. Glad to know I’m not considered as stupid as Nina.
Have to wonder what’s gonna happen to her. Suspension or straight up fired
I know the idea of a suspension or graduation gets you hard but it's not going to happen. At most, they told her to knock it off and to avoid doing stupid shit in the future.

So Calli gave us a timeframe for the overdue EN gen 1 outfits in her chatting stream (1:24:17): "Not much longer." Also told us it comes with new facial expressions.

More importantly, nothing she said disproves the rrat that I believe which explains the wait: All the new outfits were nearly fully rigged, but then management looked at Gura's rigging, realized it was once again garbage, threw out all the work her rigger had done on the new outfit, and finally just told him to fuck off forever, never to taint another hololive idol's visage with his sub-par rigging skills ever again. Of course, that means they had to hire someone else to rig Gura's new outfit, and that's why they've been delayed. okay I don't actually believe that but it would be really cool if the outfit didn't have holes in it this time
Hololive is a Japanese company and like most other Japanese companies they are really stubborn and retarded. I expect that guy to do the rigging on one of the girls. Let's roll the dice to see which girl gets the short end of the stick. My vote is Kiara which she will be very outspoken about, it will get clipped to hell and back and she will have to take a 2-week suspension for hurting the feelings of one of the artists.

Those numbers seem way more reasonable than 100,000.

Can someone tell me where this trend with vtubers and these hands come from? Is there someone who started this or did it come from out of the vt sphere? The feet on table thing was started by Ame if I'm not mistaken, right?
Someone creates an asset and the girls then shop it into a photo and upload it to Twitter. How long until someone creates lewd assets. I vote Haachama or Matsuri to be the first ones to like a fan-created image.

Interesting. Guessing they can have the girls do concerts in VR as a way to get people to "play".
