Makes sense that she was fretting about the notion of getting cancelled recently as well.

That being said the only way Pippa was ever going to realistically not have to "tone down" the vtuber alex jones side of herself was if Phase Connect stayed obscure.

Whether it's these people Tenma is collabing with now, or any real mainstream audience, her niche as "the farms and /vt/'s pet vtuber was always going to be her downfall if she ever caught very much attention. on the bright side she at least seems to be self aware of it and ramping up her roomate streams, if she can learn to keep the chan/farms persona on that account and keep her nose clean on Pippa she'll be golden in the event of PC starting to see mainstream attention. though /vt/ will probably still shit the bed and say she abandoned them "just like nyanners"

Eh. It's only based on the last 3 weeks and Kiara has been playing a lot of story-heavy JRPGs that weed out viewers with every stream. Tales of Arise is also brand new so watching her live wouldn't be ideal if you plan on experiencing it yourself. If anyone in EN was to be considered a cause for concern I'd be looking at Watson.

This doc really puts a lot of things into perspective, though, both in and outside of Hololive.

What the fuck happened to Anya, though?

Don't disagree with this on a personal level (I would avoid a stream if it's a new game I'm interested in) but as an overall trend when games are new is often when streamers capitalize on them the most in terms of views. especially if a game is highly anticipated.

It's harder to check on youtube but just give twitch a glance anytime a new game comes out and you'll find that it's often when games get their peak viewership. (it's easiest to see this on twitch because you can browse streams more easily by what game is being played which at least as far as I'm familar with YT doesn't do)

Lotta streamers end up stressing out over the pressure to always be playing the "shiny new games" as a result of it.

Lotta people thought she was gonna be Gura 2.0, which having that expectation placed on her might have actually been a detriment since Gura's skyrocket debut was kind of a lightning in a bottle moment that wasn't going to just get replicated in council. I've been enjoying her content though and she's more my style than I initially expected her to be.

crazy how bae started out so strong only to fall down. im sure she will climb up again in no time. im surprised how popular Iryse has gotten recently. if not for her model, she would be higher. like her voice and personality.

Suisei actually get some decent numbers around 7k-13k while playing tales of arise.

As for anya she always play long ass indie game that nobody watch.

iirc, Amelia's recently talked about being burnt out and feeling like she wasn't putting out the best content she could. Her last solo stream I watched was a GTAV one, which was over a month ago now.
