The estimated shipping date was late Oct-late Nov, so we're not past the original estimated time yet.

For Vtubers in particular I wonder if the twitch model of gifted subs would be entirely a good thing. It'll be good for the money for sure, but I know a lot of the girls use their members and membership streams as like an "inner circle" to be able to vent and blow off steam when talking with.

Like Polka knows she can chat with members and such when she's feeling down with the assurance that the people in her membership are people that closely support her. If suddenly her membership is filled with randos because some oil baron was shitting out free memberships that month than she's gonne have a lot of randos in her membership and lose that kinda comfy "I can drop the act and be real with my members" space.

Be interesting to see how this plays out for them.

eh the problems are still enough of an edge case that it's not gonna prevent a new feature from taking off. If the problems you stated there were at all common the platform itself would be dying.

most of the time the tracking spazzes out, if the game or program doesn't keep track of it (like there's no logical way your hand can be 5 meters away from your head) and simply keeps translating the coordinates 1:1 that's when you get cursed abominations. detail doesn't really matter since they depend on the model itself, the model only has a few points that need tracking (for example there's no need to keep track of a skirt and other accessories when a simple physics calculation can take care of that).
so to fix it all you really need is to know how to reset the tracking, some games support it themselves but that won't help when the reported values itself are off, so you need to know how it works for your vendor. if you use it long enough you'll inevitably find the best way to fix it (unless there's an easy option to do so, but again that depends on the vendor), in the end it's just a matter or preparation - of asking someone with the same type.
