This plus the similar voice seals it for me. The acc is fairly wiped but one thing I remember is she was following with Dottovu (Kronii) They've been tagged a few times together along with other VAs.

It seems at one point she shared face pics but none I can find.

I'm bringing this up because a big problem in wrestling right now is that it's infested with wrestlers and fans who are redditors who think they're so smart because they don't follow Kayfabe. They constantly point out how fake and exceptional everything is and how you shouldn't take it seriously. It's frustrating enough when fans do it. But when wrestlers knowingly break character so they can do silly immersion breaking shit for their own ego it becomes aggravating. Can you imagine how shitty Game of Thrones season 1 would have been if after executing that one guy in the first episode Sean bean looked directly in the camera. We suspend our disbelief. We are not seeing Karen formerly known as Demondice play a cartoon character. We are seeing Caliope Mori. A reaper of souls who has now taken up V Tubing for our entertainment. Makes perfect sense to me. People got annoyed with Mori because she chased other You Tubers like the Trash Taste people and other E Celebs. It breaks that immersion. And Mori at the time seemed to care more about advancing her own career than actually BEING a V tuber. Then you have shit like Coco graduating and going back to Kson. But we can't ever talk about her being Coco ever again.

TL/DR: We KNOW it's a IRL woman playing a chinese cartoon character. Just let us be immersed. But also understand we are allowed to KNOW about publicly findable info. And talk about it amongst ourselves.

I think there are actually three reasons why keeping it secret, or pretending it's secret is important.

1. Immersion
2. Preventing stalking and harassment. Look at the kind of retards who go nuts about this shit, like the changs. Some of them are too fucking retarded to even do a google search.
3. A lot of V-tubers are introverts. I think this is the main reason for the "Keep it secret" rule, and its probably the most important one. Yes, there are quite a few who are more interested in the attention and want the spotlight like Kiara and Mori, but there are also quite a few V-tubers who probably wouldn't have become V-tubers without that boundary that separates it from reality. Hololive is also known as Yagoo's home for broken girls for a reason. Everyone fucking knows who Kiara and Mori are in real life, but if the expectation was that the info was spread around like wildfire, then the more introverted ones probably wouldn't even try. But if the identities of those two are still treated as a secret, it's clear sign that the barrier introverts are comfortable with would be respected.

I agree that it's fine to talk among ourselves as long as we don't act like retarded spergs with the information. The past is the context for the present.

Yeh, fair call, that first post is more narrow than I intended it to be because of the main topic being the secret clubs. I was using faggot to refer to a lot of people but it is probably worth being specific. Forbidden knowledge circlejerking, trying to make ad revenue from doxing, harassing/endangering people, etc. All of that falls under the 'faggot' umbrella to me.

Technically, all of it is doxxing in the sense that anything from an address to a face picture is personally identifying. What people call 'real' doxxing, the kind that is unwarranted, is really called PPI (Personal Proprietary Information) as opposed to PII (Personal Identifying Information). The former is almost always considered bad-form and is usually spread illegaly (this includes home addresses, bank statements/accounts, etc. . .The latter is your face, name or other indetifying information that doesn't necessarily give someone the ability to directly fuck up your life, however if enough is collected it can become an issue.
