Given the limited information they've released it really depends on whether this is federal versus local law enforcement in the US. From what I can gather it's likely federal now since you're talking about multiple people in different states abusing local law enforcement and breaking a shit ton of FCC (I believe it's FCC) regs for use of communication to commit a crime.

Likely law enforcement will just ask them to turn over any records they have with regards to this (complaints they've received, any correspondence with people that had got swatted, and any legitimate communications they've had talents/potential talents) and then kind of run their own case. They'll probably interview everyone in the company too just to make sure this isn't some weird thing from the inside (I seriously doubt it but people are weird). Law enforcement should have given them a statement to make that would be generic and encourage victims to come forward or get in touch.

What law enforcement WOULDN'T advise is for a shit-for-brains cocksucker to make a video about this acting like he was the lord and savior of the company through his efforts when he himself is only a few degrees of separation from one of the doxxers.

tl;dr: law enforcement will do most of the investigating and tell Vshoujo to issue a statement or issue a joint one. Nux is a faggot who sucks cocks under a bridge.

From what I can glean by all the shit being flung around, it seems like Nux 'helped' VShojo, but not out of a sense of decency but more to grab for that sweet clout. Nyanners got pissed and sperged about it because Nux prematurely shot his heroic load and trumpeted it to the world, making VShojo all look amazingly incompetent in comparison.

Regarding the Vshojo thing, the one action that they could've taken is put out an official announcement on their twitter about these fake emails. I doubt investigators would've had an issue with a simple tweet like that. Just letting people know to be careful. I don't see how this simple heads up would've reflected badly on the company either. It's not their fault there's some scumbag fucks out there trying to scam and swat people.

I can definitely see how his video would hinder investigators from catching others, if more than one person was involved with this scam. They already knew who did the attacks, the problem wasn't figuring that out. VShojo wanted to go after them legally, which is why they wanted to keep it secret, it's not like they couldn't figure out who it was, they did, and so did Nux and they asked him to keep it private as to not get in the way of their proceedings

It's quite the mismash of a crew. Some may be into that aspect and prefer it even, but it is hard to compare it to the well-oiled machines of niji and hololive, even just their EN divisions. You could argue there are some in HL (and maybe niji, but I don't really know them) that have interesting backgrounds as well, but the outward facing kayfabe is closely kept.
