Mayuzumi is taking a break until February to deal with depression he's been having for over a month. Hope it goes well for him; February might be a big return month considering Sukoya's med school hiatus was gonna be 9 months, which should be either January or February, I think?


How playable are these sorta games, like Wixoss (Niji partnership) or Weiss Schwarz (Holo partnership)? Not sure about Wixoss, but I know Weiss Schwarz has an absolute fuckton of collabs with games and shows, so it seems kind of odd.

Wixoss as a game is pretty decent but good luck finding someone to play against if you aren't in Japan lol. Even Weiss Schwarz doesn't have a big playerbase in NA, most people (like myself) just buy the cards as a form of merchandise, basically.

I always assume as a New Englander that people think everyone in New England has the retarded 'missing-R' accent, especially while 'pahkin the cah in Hahvahd Yahd' like Bill Burr would say it, but she doesn't have that so she's not from near Boston for sure. Nantucket would fit, though.

New England transplants are also all over the US and if they move away from "home" early enough, their accents can go away or don't become as strong or as pronounced. Helps to not be surrounded by people with strong accents as you oftentimes subconsciously adopt it over time. I used to work in an office in the South Shore area surrounded by people talking in that heavy accent and during a hike in New Hampshire and talking to an NH native on the trail, he actually stopped me while I was in mid-sentence and laughingly asked "You're from Massachusetts, aren't you?".

Circling back to Gura, she's young enough that having moved away at an early age from the northeast means the accent isn't as pronounced and not as ingrained. Only the most trained/familiar ear can detect hints of it.
