Mario Kart collab between Reine, Marine, Calli and Bae coming up. I wonder how big is the skill gap between JP and EN/ID.

Have this faithful recreation of all routes in Reine's minecraft fanfic. She and Gura need to have a collab in only UwUspeak.

This is most likely part of the sponsorship. I guess it's not that surprising for EN? They had the Priconne song one with Calli right? For a foreign branch, EN seems to be pushing for their musical output, wonder how much they're going to make if they can fly in and out of Japan

Fumi is a cute tsundere for Christmas, Shiika is such a sweet character, the mommy voice for Murasaki is noice, and Hatsuna is so energetic and proactive. This was video is really really great, the voice acting and writing is amazing; and Bae did both. Very talented girl. Thanks Bae!

Found an ad of an EN Vtuber promote herself on reddit, trying to chase the fact that she's Ayamy's daughter and technically Mel's vtuber sister.

Considering she debut 12 days ago and still doesn't have 1K sub, guess the investment isn't paying off yet. Have nothing against her though, her voice is pretty nice, just not unique or anything.

I got home just before this started. So much Marineglish, what a wonderful Christmas gift!
Highlight for me so far was the other three speaking Japanese with a valley girl accent, causing Senchou to nearly die of laughter (she loved the broken Japanese in the Jojo reference in Stickmin too).

As far as skill gap, Marine crushed the other three. Calli was asking if they could play Jump King instead lol.

You can buy views and all that shit. Or they have pretty popular roomates and the followers are checking it out. 1M views is absurd in 4 days.

Depends. All gens have their tryhard-good players and their dogshit-terrible ones. When it comes to Mariokart im pretty sure Ina and Kiara are the top ones in EN. I believe Gura was practicing really hard too so she might to really well. In ID the only good one is Reine and Ollie tries hard but is not as good. I wonder if lag will be an issue.

1k subs is not bad for being an indie that seems to be a literal nobody.

You can only expect higher numbers than that from an indie if the person already has a well-established content creator career or an existing youtube channel with thousands of followers like that one Clipper who used some girl to voice act and pretend to be him (forgot the name). Pretty sure that channel had around 100k subs already. Take someone like the NijiBoys that just debuted. A couple of them had done Vtubing yet they were literal nobodies with a very small following. Now you have Vox and Mysta with around 8k viewers per stream (that's almost Hololive-mid tier viewership levels) with the other 3 being at around 1.3-1.6k viewers (which is about as big as the other NijisanjiEN streamers).

I agreed. I'm not saying that 1K in two weeks for an indie is a bad things, just that she probably already spend quite a lot of investment commission a Holomem's mama, and the initial boost from the association isn't really paying off. She can build off that base from now on. Sure hope she doesn't borrow those money from somewhere though, she won't seeing profit anytime soon.
