Not if i do it first like last time :smug:

Still i did not know that the same rules of recruitment of HoloJP applied to Stars, because there was not any announcement for a casting, halfway expecting ID3 on January or February and the bois in the middle of the year to stop putting more JP and EN that is saturated right now

HoloJP, Stars, and NijiJP have had always-open recruitment for a while, which means the boys have probably already been selected and they'll be much closer to ID3 than you think. After all, Cover are very clear that Stars and Holo are not the same production, and therefore they likely see no issue with one coming in January and the other in February, for example.

In the video, Karen asks how long the succubi have been working there. One says "I started in February, so a bit over half a year?" So that means this was filmed months ago:

Also, lol to Karen's favorite cosplay idea being a tentacle girl. Maybe she wanted Ina's model? That way she could pretend to be flat...
Could you imagine having to pretend to have "A cup angst" when you actually have "D cup depression"?

All I want in regards to StarsEn is to not cringe and hate watching them. I always give new members ample time to get the cringe out of their system or turn it into an art form like Mori. Basically I will be happy even if they are completely average.

Hopium, but the "and more" sounds like Holostars EN for me
I was away for family stuff when it went down, but I have much more hope for Holostars-EN after seeing how well the NijiBros are doing. Mysta is currently pulling damn near 8k viewers playing Until Dawn with Shu.

Has anyone watched much of them yet? General feel/opinion? I was able to catch Luca playing Dark Souls 3 last night, and he managed to stay positive during a majority of it.

I do have my concerns about a StarsEN but overall I think they'll at least be fine. If NijiID and NijiKR can be deemed profitable enough to continue supporting, I don't see why Holostars can't be deemed solid enough to justify a venture into the EN market soon.

Logistically, I'm not sure a StarsEN is a good idea but I also don't run a business or have info on what Cover do.

Can't wait for the 10 pages of Doomposting about Connor again.
Good. That shit is always fun.

Standouts are Mysta and Vox. Mysta's streams are extremely entertaining because he is dumb as hell and he fails constantly leading to pretty funny moments. Yesterday's stream got demonetized because he was going to show chat a photo and he pulled out a slightly nsfw one.

I haven't caught much from Shu and Ike due to timezones and Luca is pretty goofy. Something I am really liking about them is that they pop into other's streams. Yesterday Nina was playing the Power wash simulator game and just talking to them for a few hours about what they want to do, or things that have happened during their streams. This is something that I really enjoy from the HoloEN girls how they have been popping into each other streams to just chat and I wish they would do more often. It does feel like a big dumb family and its something NijiEN has been doing for a while.

The overall in my case is

  1. Luca: dont let his nervous tic deceive you that bro can play hard, any masochist that can speedrun getting over with it is on another level that rarely any Vtuber has
  2. Vox Akuma: you know you have hit gold when the (((usuals))) are making dumb shit out of you on homosexual places like Tumblr, the weird thing about him is how he change according of how he is streaming, he sells the daddy BL shit alone but you can see him banter and being a monkey when he is on collabs
  3. Ike: im not surprised that he is the favorite of the girls considering how he talks like a hairdresser thing that sell him hard, his range is all over the place, has weird knowledge of all ass games that want to play but need the dreaded (((((PERMITS))))) or money in the case of Rules of Rose
  4. Mysta: the punching bag of Luxiem, the boi is a meme machine since his debut compared with Finana sometimes
  5. Shu: EYYYYYYYYYY

Also you get the special privilege of this interactions that only Niji can pull off because they are not cucks now on Imperial Language

Or this

They're all pretty good. Luca and Shu are probably my favs. I haven't seen much of Ike and Vox but they seem good in collabs. Vox's thirst tweet stream was also surprisingly funny. Mysta is the one who doesn't really click with me because I'm not really into his whole walking disaster shtick, but clearly he is quite popular.

While Nijisanji guys do way better than Holostars in Japan, I suspect that Stars EN would do at least as well as NijiEN guys - which seems to be pretty well, albeit only going off of a week of data - due to Hololive's brand recognition. Luxiem has shown that there are a lot of female EN vtuber fans who were waiting for corpo agency vtubers, and I don't see why they also wouldn't watch StarsEN as well.

The and more just cement that Holostar EN is going to be a thing , finally my Bois get some respect
Just curious, what would a HolostarsEN really bring to the table that your average male streamer on twitch doesn't already? Is it just the vtuber aesthetic?

I've talked about this before, but I don't see the appeal of male vtubers. Either they have some twink voice they use for their character, which I find incredibly grating to listen to. Or they just sound like some regular dude but with an anime mask.

With female vtubers, I get the appeal hence why I've been posting in this thread for nearly a year. They have a certain voice and character they bring to the avatar. Most importantly, they aren't ethots...well most of them aren't that is. The one way I can see HolostarsEN appealing to me is if they show some Goku/Vegeta tier english voice acting behind the character. With a personality to match as well. Otherwise, I can't see them being very successful.

She had shorter hair during last week's show, and the hostess kinda gave away the date also. This is an old vid.

Well i guess i was wrong.
her irl content is so much better than the vshojo shit.
That is pretty low bar. I will probably watch this next weekend when i am gonna plan getting drunk anyway.
The only valid contender for Holostars EN and the potential Holostars equivalent of Ame. Maybe will need some convincing, but just mention that he could be taller than 5 feet for once with no male pattern baldness and I'm sure he'll be game.

I doubt you could ever get Jerma to join agency with how much it would limit his choice in streaming material.
Speaking of him, i kinda relieved knowing that collabbegging isn't just a thing within Hololive because amount of Nyanners fans i still see spamming about collab after a year with no mentions from either side is amazing.
