The Netflix release of Eva didn't have FM2tM because they didn't want to pay for the rights.

Not only Netflix, but even on the ultimate BD (english) release they did, they apparently couldn't get the rights or didn't want pay for them. I wasn't going to pay $300+ or whatever crazy price it was and not get proper FMTTM for the EDs. I'll stick with my JP BD remuxes with better translations muxed into them anyway.
