It's probably common knowledge by now that Nijisanji asks content creators to react to Niji clips, but Nagzz confirms that he, Koefficient and Noble were recently contacted to react to NijiEN.
So I guess Niji have decided to just abandon any idea of making organic following and hype
Not very surprising, honestly

The full context of this clip is more to do with AnyColor making the rounds and telling Twitch streamers that they have express permission to continue reacting to their content in lieu of the recent stuff with Viacom, Pokimane, Toast etc.

Nagzz was talking about how he wouldn't be reacting to full anime episodes etc on his channel, but NijisanjiEN have already told him (and he thinks Koe and Noble, and probably others by extension) that nothing has changed and he can keep doing what he wants, which is an inherently good thing for everyone involved.

Though they have informally asked people to react to their content in 2020, this isn't that. All three of them have segments on their streams where they react to viewer-submitted clips already, and plenty of them are large enough in length where, if they were a clip of MasterChef, would be eligible for issues with their channels. If anything, Anycolor has been extremely quick to put out any anxiety that they may do the same. I don't think there's any lack of transparency from anyone, as there's no formal sponsorships between them. At this point, they're doing it because they want to do it.

Even if that wasn't the case, then yes I'd be weary of the lack of transparency, but the idea behind it still falls under 'organic' growth. I'm not really sure what the hell that zing was.

La+ might have shown something she wasn't supposed to. I don't think it was on purpose considering what we know about the app/software they use. Seems more like what happened with Pre-Debut EN where Gura popped up without clothes. It also seems fairly unfinished, so don't think it was going to be shown any time soon.

Still a shame though, I noticed a few minutes ago Botan tabbed out of the game and was typing for a few solid minutes. So I'm guessing management got in touch with her, why they'd do that while she's actively playing is beyond me though. Edit: Someone made another possible suggestion that it might have been her asking if management could private La+'s scuffed stream.

I'd personally err at the thought of a company going out of their way to personally DM known personalities that react to their content that "you're still good to make videos about us" unless these people DM'd first asking for permissions. And just going by Nagzz statement, it seems Niji contacted them first.

And it would be also kind of weird for Koe to ask for permissions to continue reacting to Nijisanji clips given how it's a point of contention among his mods that he prefers Hololive clips for his "You Laugh You Lose challenges" that they just actively filter out any Niji clips

So while I respect your thinking that this is just Anykara going above and beyond to appease content creators that react and advertise their channels in light of the recent wave of copyright claims for react streams, it is kind of weird to think that they would actively do that if you actually sit down and reflect on it.

Yup, the reason why it didn't sit well with me is the implication that Niji contacted them first, not the other way around. Its gonna raise some questions about transparency and such

I wouldn't describe them as having gone above and beyond, by the by, that wasn't my intent. As a Japanese company who are more reliant on the goodwill and free publicity of western react andys than their main competitors, it doesn't feel all too far flung to me that they'd take the initiative to 'offer' permissions so that they can keep going without any pressure. Doesn't mean other companies will suddenly shit on reactors because that would be retarded, but people may be more comfortable knowing they have permission to eat the last cake than to just eat it and risk the low chance of someone ending your career for it.

You can see in the comments from Nagzz's YT videos that a lot of people are discovering NijiEN through him, and even if Koe's mods are faggots and he doesn't (have the chance to) watch them as much, he still reacts to their debuts so it's worthwhile. This all seems very casual, based on what Nagzz is saying about his chat with them.

I don't begrudge you for viewing it as strange though, though I could only brush it off as them taking extra precautions to maintain the way things are and nothing more. At the very least, we can say it's not a case of them going back and asking the same creators to make more content of them, because that would be obnoxious.

Edit: I re-watched the clip and Nagzz says 'We got the OK from them a while ago'. So I think he's actually talking about the time they were approached to react to their videos in 2020 and using it as an example of a company giving reaction permissions. This is just him rehashing old news. Doesn't seem like Anycolor have done anything at all recently.

Maybe I read wrongly or I just don't get the guidelines, but there is no restriction of mixing a talent's vocals with another artist's music so as long as you have permissions right? For Cover corp.
I did some mixing of my own for Gura's rendition of When the Party's over.

this gonna be good, Lion, Duck Devil and the Demon Lord.

I went to watch the L4D2 stream on Laplus's channel about 45 min after it started and the stream was already privated. Was wondering what happened since Towa's stream was still up, so I'm watching through there for now. Be interesting to see if someone caught it, whatever it was.

I like airys but I don't really like her music. Sorry Irys..

It's strange, I like her voice and I think she can sing but the way she pronounces words just seems a bit off. I've been hoping she'd sing Shallys at some point because a made up language might be just what she needs

Have the faces of Lui/Chloe been discovered yet? I have only stumbled upon Iroha/La+/Koyori's irl photos so far, the remaining two seem to be a mystery.

Actively seeking out content creators , who the company has never contacted nor has working relations with, may I add (if your narrative is to be believed) who just happen to stream reaction videos of clips your Vtubers, and reassuring them over DMs/emails over concerns of being copyright claimed when they never asked for the first place is kind of the definition of going above and beyond

That's like Toei Animation scouring through every channel on Youtube that ever uploaded anything Dragonball related and painstakingly sending each and everyone of them an email that goes "You can keep the uploads, we won't strike you and shit"

Pretty sure so long as you're not monetizing it, you're fine

So what was she showed on stream? The L2D app console?

Botan's new sheep costume. Look at the previous pages. Someone posted it.
La+ accidentally triggered it because the Hololive app console works through the cloud and all people with access to it can access other member's models and costumes

Huh, I might be retarded
Yeah I can see that as a reason for privating it

Oh didn't realize that was related. Makes sense then. Hopefully Laplus doesn't feel too bad about it, I'm sure it was a mistake. I only caught the end of the L4D2 but she seemed kind of quiet during it.

I don't know anything about Heavenrend, but what evidence has there been that PC is being mismanaged?

And yeah, I caught a chunk of Cutest Rabbit's stream tonight too and it was really distressing. It really seems like she had a really rough childhood and retreated into the Internet for socialization and cope. And while I can relate to that to a certain degree, it's just not a healthy way to go through life. Her diet is a whole other matter. Poor girl's gotta find a life outside of all that toxicity.

I also caught a bit of Ashelia and Uruka's stream near the end. I don't usually catch much of Ashelia; is she playing it up for her character, or is she really dumb? Uruka was trying to explain how Costco sells vacation packages and she couldn't grasp the idea. "How do you take a vacation inside a package? Don't you have to go somewhere?"
She plays it up. It's her character; a legally blonde style alien who doesn't understand earth. The situation you described is the tip of the iceberg.

In terms of entertainment, she's okay; in terms of maintaining kayfabe, she's one of the best.
One of my personal faves

To be fair i didn't notice that was the leak until they pointed it out too so you ain't alone
