Bruh:Not to derail too much, but I think people underestimate just how much Konami would cost. They literally own entire casinos (or the retarded Diet Gambling variants), have their hands in all sorts of hardware, have the rights to Yu-Gi-Oh! and produce other TCGs. They'd cost a fortune.
SEGA, too, has companies under its umbrella like RGG and ATLUS, owns arcades and creates arcade hardware on a global scale, they have movie productions in their IPs. You have to factor in all these things when outright acquiring a company. Bungie is successful at creating software so the transaction is smoother and (probably) less expensive.
That doesn't mean I don't want Konami to relinquish Suikoden, though. Someone please buy that.
Sony could have bought Sega, Capcom, or Square with the same amount of money they bought with Bungie with. Maybe Konami. If you are wondering about other big game companies that could be acquired, here's who remains (market caps):
-EA: $38B
-Take Two: $18B
-Nexon: $15B
-Bandai Namco: $15B
-Embracer: $10.8B
-Netmarble $7B
-Ubisoft: $7B
-Konami: $6B
-Square Enix: $5.6B
-Capcom: $4.9B
-Sega: $3.6B
But, this is the V-Tuber thread so I'll get back on topic.
We've seen Sega make Sonic a V-Tuber, but which video game companies do you see might hire V-Tubers to play their games on the official channels?
I mean if Crunchyroll (now owned by Sony, under Funimation's branch) can get a V-Tuber, it's not far-fetched that it's out of the realm of possibilities.
