Like it or not, we know from when Towa experienced something similar (and much more ambiguous than this), she lost a significant portion of her JP fanbase. Because Rushia has always played into the GFE shit, I imagine a similar thing will happen with her, and probably worse than what happened with Towa too. Maybe the JP fanbase has matured since then, but I sincerely doubt it. I'm personally expecting a pretty big sub and income loss, and think that if you aren't expecting one you're just not familiar enough with Japanese fandom.
