General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

During the Vampire Survivors stream, one guy said her build was awful, her reply was along the lines of "You know what else is awful? Think about it and come back."
I like "fuck around and find out" Ina.
For anyone who wants to see it quickly, it's in the middle of this clip.

Ina has definitely made a point to tell chat not to get obsessed with her lately, but she has more or less always had this established for some time. I think the only one who tried the GFE seriously was Ame and she seemed to drop that not long after her debut.
Watson was less standard GFE experience, more Nagatoro "Make fun of the smelly chat because I like to tease you" route. Though in the time I've been watching her, I don't think it's strayed into any sort of creepy parasocial territory like Rushia did.

About the only who gets even remotely close MIGHT be Fauna with her Yandere bit. But she makes sure to emphasize she's as much a cute anime girl enjoyer herself as we, her saplings, are. She even recently went on a mini rant/discussion about the virtues of pencil skirts and office lady attire vs pants (which she is against).

Edit:
IRyS still hasn't fixed her stream date so I guess we're in for the long haul. 2 years will just fly by

Check again mate. That's a free chat stream that some streamers will put up to have their up to date schedule, as well as let people just chat in the background.

I think is more that alot of streamers that don't want to form parasocial relationships with their viewers became paranoid that they are not being clear enough, thing like Ina behavior, Fulgur chat rules, and Pippa stream about the topic are just over reaction to that fear, yes Ina has made it clear she is not into being chat girlfriend but she might be afraid if being to nice a cuddly with chat might lead to some of then getting the wrong idea anyways, again I think is just people being a little on edge about the topic and make go back to normal after a while.

I just dont think it has to be a norm neither a obligation for all holoEN girls and the future holostarsEN to constantly collab between them like nijiEN does.
Well you see, in this thread most people don't really give a shit about Holostars, they only care because it's Cover's biggest, long standing blunder and an easy way to criticise them.
Since this announcement, I've seen a couple of individuals post about how they want a StarsEN for a purpose beyond just having more fun streamers to interact with sometimes. Even so, I feel confident in saying that this is definitely some strawmanning of the group and I'm sure somewhere you have to know it. Even if there are more people that feel the way you describe, you'll have to do some serious convincing to show me it's the prevailing thought. My take is that people are excited to have some bros they can actually fully understand without relying on clippers, and they are excited to see how they interact with the other members just like any new generation. The reason people talk about integration so much is because they are not unreasonably afraid that they won't get to see a possible fun combination ever come to life.

Now, the reason I call it reasonable fear is for two reasons. 1. People are under the impression that Holostars are nearly banned by corporate mandate from interacting with the JPgirls. This is completely untrue. It's just a rrat because of the idol stuff, and I'm fairly certain it's a decision made on the talent side seeing as how actually a lot of girls have collabed with the boys. 2. They are also afraid that Cover will shaft them on the support side because 'why would you put extra effort into the much less profitable venture'? Once again the perception is that Cover has not done enough to help the Stars that exist, but no one knows why or if that in itself is even true. Personally, I think they could market the boys a little better, but I'm not Japanese so obviously I'm not the target for them. In any case, increasing the new boys' profile by showing off their talents and good sides by gaining access to the girls pre-established and very large audience would be nothing but good for their growth. There is nothing wrong with this process as it is what every new gen goes through anyway when they collab with their senpai. So this should be a nonissue if you don't have a problem with it when new girls collab.

I do not want there to be some cultural seismic shift in the way EN operates right now, and having a few icky penis-havers in there shouldn't change anything as long as they are not even more autistic than the girls. It's just more fun to be had with more combinations of people to have it with.

I don't really have a dog in this fight, but I think if HolostarsEN happens that would - like HoloEN did for Hololive- propel the Holostars into a larger global stage. To simply fold them up into Hololive just kills all the work that went to get those boys to where they are today. Give them the EN injection and if it sees success great, if not then fold them into Hololive.

Maybe I am just schizo, but it really feels to me that ina starts to resent her chat more and more. I was subscribed to her for quite some time, but the last few weeks it doesn´t feel as comfy anymore and its not about the banter she did on callis stream, i also don´t want her as a girlfriend, but it feels like I get constantly friendzoned even though i never tried to get with her?! I don´t know if that analogy makes sense, but i wanted to write my thoughts down. Maybe she is just super stressed and someday it will change again, but i miss the comfyness.
Also maybe she is just sick of reading 500 birthdaymassages each stream, which i would understand.
At least it's not as bad as Amelia's treatment of her goslings.

Watson is more "you are a bunch of idiots but you are my idiots" and you have Kronii with "i did not raise you dipshits to be this weak, just dont be weak" when they start their whining about her not streaming, the hardcore GFE thing was as long as i can remember a Rushia thing only , in HL at least

Fulgur chat rules
He is the Charlie sheen of Vtubers

btw i find hilarious that Cover updated the merchadising of the expo removing Rushia entirely and now Irys is a DLC of Council for some reason

Edit: about Ina she has been ODDLY weird since her return after the ISP fucked her live, she was almost crying saying that this is it, this is the most she can do but somehow decided to just go forward with Hololive

I can only think of a handful of times that Ina's has been cuddly with chat. I think her recent putting her foot down has been on a few of the super simps sending her thirst/flirt SC's like somehow that's going to get her attention

They do it to themselves. I was told being associated with KFP was bad, but then I met the Investigators. They're a step away from being chumbuddies

Put me down for Team Stars EN collabs with whatever girls wanna collab with them.

I will die on the hill that the only reason Holo EN doesn't collab that often with Stars is the language barrier and the fact they want nothing to do with crazy japanese female fans.

Calli and ID basically give no fucks Ollie, Moona, and Lofi have played Apex offline with Connor. EN I can see being half and half. JP has a handful of western weebs. Tbh I'm expecting a big sister little brother type of dynamic which would be beneficial towards everyone that way no one gets shipped.

The new Hologra stuff they've been doing on the Holostars channel is a resounding success.

Investigators
Isn't it Teamates?

Asking the real question.

So in the last few weeks we've had:
1) ISP shitting itself ad nauseam
2) Medical issues (which might require surgery)
3) Canada going fucking crazy
4) Ina prepping to move soon
5) Posts on the roomate account talking about over-work and under-sleep.
6) Prepping for the concert
I'm honestly shocked she isn't MORE on edge. But then again, it is Ina we're talking about.
Isn't it Teamates?
Although the fan name is "Teamates", the first rank of membership is "Investigator", so the fanart has created us as gators in detective uniforms.

I dunno about you guys but somehow I think she enjoying Elden Ring. She finally beat Margit eventually even if the good ol jellyfish spirt had to come out to play to give some assistance. Seeing the girls reactions when they finally beat bosses is golden.
