Fulgur started the shit talk, I wonder who’s the real snitched among them but when a resident Holo ultra naive and friendly Ollie is folding then I can see how much fudge up Fulgur is. He thinks he elite but reality is that he’s not even Robin for Vox as Batman.
I really want to sidestep time being a flat circle and dragging up this discussion again.
But I think you have to be clinically insane to expect the entire human population to always be conscious of what they're saying just in case they are found guilty of Thought Crimes.
No one here maintains professionalism out of work hours or we wouldn't be here calling people troons and chinks. NijiEN don't do it. HoloEN probably don't do it. We know thanks to Rushia that there's people in HoloJP and definitely NijiJP that don't do it.
The fact that both parties caved and deleted the tweets mean that both companies still thought the leak is a sensitive issue. That's something worthy to think about, honestly
It doesn't mean that at all.
Firstly, Fulgur did not reply to her. The second deleted comment was someone telling her that her reputation may be questioned if she doesn't delete the tweet. The only notable person who deleted the tweet was Ollie after being harassed by her own fans.
Much like everyone else involved, I am sure Ollie is aware of the Discord leak and has decided she doesn't care: much like Kiara and Calli have shown through words and actions. Even if she wasn't aware and had her eyes opened by the replies, she would have probably unfollowed him and yet she hasn't.
She has deleted the tweet for one of two reasons:
1) The pressure from Hololive fans has forced her into deleting it.
2) She has consciously deleted the tweet because, as long as the tweet remains up, the replies linking to the leak from her post will be visible at the top of his birthday tweet, and that makes her look bad and will probably make her feel bad too.
Neither of these require the stance of the companies to be a factor at all. In fact, it's probably in both companies' best interests that concernfags learn to shut the fuck up about it and let things go so people like Ollie don't have to feel like they'll wake up in the middle of a scandal just for wishing someone a happy birthday.
You simply have to accept that this is an aspect of the western Holo community — mostly from the people of Reddit — as they have Deified random girls LARPing as anime characters to be 'above' forgiving mere mortals (or cyborgs, I guess). Ironic, given that those same people will go to bat agains the evil Japanese idol culture for doing the exact same thing.
