Just read through it and this is the best TL;DR I can muster because holy shit this is so much text

A lot of viewers are being driven away from Uki's stream because of how the mods are acting. Some of the concerns are:
  • Mods chatting too frequently (typing in caps, spamming, etc.), acting more like viewers than mods essentially. The messages aren't even them doing their job, just reacting to the stream.
  • The mods essentially breaking the rules the streamers set despite being mods themselves but being unforgivingly strict when it comes to viewers. (backseating, talking about their personal lives, refering or replying to other people in chat, etc. but timing out nearly half of the live audience after answering Uki's "who should we prank next?" question)
  • The mods themselves openly thirsting over Uki in chat, as well as being very parasocial with him and having convos with him while he's streaming.
  • Babying Uki by apparently at one point telling people to stop sending superchats so Uki can sleep during a superchat reading stream.
Some suggestions they offered:
  • The mods just shutting the fuck up essentially. "Please consider becoming silent mods"
  • "Humble yourselves"
  • The mods open a marshmallow for concerns, similar to Fulgur's mods.
In their message to Uki:
  • They think Uki plays favorites and mentioned how they noticed Uki seemingly favours mods more by "reading out mods names, focusing on them, replying to them during stream or in prechat, naming a game asset after a mod, etc.", thus making other fans feel awkward. They aren't here to see him interacting with mods but with the game he's playing or with other livers. They're asking him to overhaul the mod team or at least speak with them.

Seems it's not even a isolated concern, I've had friends who mentioned they've seen mods doing these things themselves and that it's driven them away from chatting too. So, that's that. Don't really watch Uki that often so I don't have big opinions on this.

I thought I was in for some real cringe when I started reading this, but this person very clearly and concisely explained the issues and a potential solution for each one he brought up. I know it seems long, but each point made needed to be talked about to some extent to understand the breadth of the issue without just boiling it down into bullet points. This person is also making an emotional appeal to Uki and the mods so there needs to be some extra fluff in there to get the point across. This post was actually pretty based, and I would feel the same way if any of my favorite Holo girls had mods that acted like the ones mentioned in this post. I honestly hope this person's post makes a real difference so they can get back to enjoying their preferred entertainer.

To be honest I expected lot more autism from both parties but the persons dissatisfied with the situation are actually reasonable. Everything would be cured if both parties touched more grass obviously, but before the male waves debuted I've never seen so mant mod messages in live chat, and even if I tend to mostly hide the panel and don't partecipate it's really distracting.

But yes, the boys in general seem to have issues with their mod team and it needs sorting out. They all get babied quite a lot and there was that whole thing with one of Luca's mods telling people to stop speaking in Chinese.

Unfortunately, the release of Noctyx coincided too heavily with the busiest part of my semester, so aside from Yugo I haven't really had time to watch them enough to have an opinion on this.

I'd call it disappointment, what else do you call watching a friend make a fool and an ass of themselves? Edit: Oh, so others don't babyrage at you. Okay, I mis-read.

I chalk it up to mods feeling they're special enough to be close to their oshi compared to the masses and literally let it go to their head. I think this is probably why Selen's mods, despite being on vacation atm, we never even heard from. They just kinda exist and do their job, whether they're discord fucking or whatever we won't know or care but they aren't insufferable like Finanas or the Boy's.

In a way, this is worse than Lyger. As idiotic as he is, he didn't ordered people to stop sending SC, and most of his autism are done outside of chat (besides the endless Kawaii). Also Lyger is just one person, this... it's a fucking legion of them

One of the people running Selen's Fancord used to play APEX with Selen back when she was Dokibird, so she's a good example of having a close mod team/liaisons who aren't on a bizarre power trip.
